There is a dress code - men are not allowed to dinner in T-shirts and short shorts, but in a T-shirt that covers the shoulders, you can! Learn this too. And then my husband had a lot of T-shirts and 1 T-shirt, so I had to wear one every time for dinner :(

Probably depends on the hotel staff. For example, where we were (Rehana 5*) they didn't pay much attention to it. Although upon arrival, our hotel guide said that you can only go to the restaurant in trousers. But with a naked torso, they definitely didn’t let me in.
