I haven't been to Sierra so I can't comment. In Egypt rested 4 times, the last in the Sultan. The Sultan is nothing compared to previous 5 star hotels. Nothing like it's all stairs. Staircase only for descent to the sea. There is a bus on site. The area is big and beautiful. Animators are great! If we go next time to Egypt, then only to the Sultan. You will not regret it.

We chose the Sierra !!! we didn’t cheat on our favorite hotel. And don’t worry about the planes, they are clearly visible - a restaurant with a panoramic view of the take-off, but you can hear exactly like in any hotel in this bay - if we hadn’t seen them, we wouldn’t even and would know about their existence, unless, of course, the goal is to look for dust, flies, etc. We will definitely go to the Sultan in the season, and before the New Year, you will not see all the Christmas fuss anywhere else in Sharm in such grandeur! it's a matter of taking a taxi, and another thing is to have it at hand !!

In December, we were in Sierra (after a long ordeal with a choice). this is already the 3rd visit to Sierra, of course, there are changes and positive. and negative side. Animation has deteriorated, or rather, now there is work on the principle of Savoy-soft animation, i.e. it is practically invisible and inaudible, and besides, it was just the Ukrainian team. If you want fun, in Soho, there are disco, and concerts on stage, and singing fountains, in short, the European version of Naama. free + 2 drinks, chips, nuts. There is an ice bar - the 6th in the world !!! - everything is made of ice, inside -5C, Finland is poured into ice glasses !!! (warm clothes are given out). Indoor SPA pool -SUPER, with a bunch of hydromassage streams and a mini-slide in the outdoor pool. Plus for the winter, and it works until 22-00, while everything stops. Bassiki until 18. A Russian cook works in the restaurant, for 9 days there was borscht, and hodgepodge, and vinaigrette, and Olivier, you can’t list everything !!! A modest table with salads, appetizers, but no one was hungry.
