wind in mid april
Tell me please. We are going with my husband on 04/16/10 at Grand Plaza Sharm Resort 5 *, Nabq Bay and have heard that there are strong winds. What is really so annoying? what is cold? I thought it was hot everywhere in Egypt at the end of April... Kind people to calm my nerves, they just bought tickets :)

the wind starts to blow in early March and blows strongly for 50 days, I was in late February-early March. I felt all the delights of this weather, but it blew strongly only at night. I think you'll be fine...

the devil is in the details. Although, if xenax decided to reduce demand (and prices) for the best period of weather in Egypt, then he answered correctly.
There is such a phenomenon. It's called khamsin. But it does not "blow strongly for 50 days", but "is observed during a period lasting no more than 50 days on average". In reality, during the season it can blow 2-3 days. And it is not cold, but hot - more than 40 degrees.

Thank you very much - more or less calmed down. Probably, nevertheless, we should be lucky with my husband, because. We'll be there on the 20th.

Everything will be great! There is always wind in Nabq. But that doesn't stop you from having a great time :). Only near the sea at night there is a strong noise of wind and surf. I was scared at first :)
Personally, I went to Nabq for two years in a row and have no regrets

From there yesterday. Out of 9 days - 6 down the drain because of the wind. Very invigorating. But you might get lucky. Study the weather forecast for Sharm. If it gives more than 6 m / s, then you don’t swim too much.
