I don’t know how it is now, but in November there was a construction site on the left and the beach was completely undeveloped. No one swam there with us. Behind the construction site, as you were told, is the Tirana Hotel.
Teztour's guides seemed like normal guys, no one intimidated anyone, we communicated well with them on all issues.
And I really liked the hotel. There is the best review about it in my blog, I hope to get there again in the fall.

Nafih you this beach, go better on the pontoon ;-). As for restaurants - all five are free, there is only one a la carte restaurant with sushi. In general, you won’t be left without food, to put it mildly, they even feed on the beach.
We like the Teztur guides... They waited sooooo long for us before leaving for the airport (we messed up with our suitcases)... Respect to them.

Were there 2 years ago. The beach at Tirana is better, cost $10 per day. There is a narrow strip where you enter - and immediately the edge of the coral after 20 meters. The fish are tamed - fed. A lot of them. It's next to the flag. The entry is sandy, if further to the left of the flag (facing the sea) - there is solid sand, there is no coral either. You can swim in a storm - like in a normal sandy sea. To the right of the flag - there is coral and they whistle - you can’t swim, you can scratch yourself on the coral. Behind the coral is a huge coral cliff down (the abyss). Before lunch, it is better at Tirana (the water is clear in the morning), and after - you can also go on a pontoon.

The beach is better than in the hotel on the left. On a stranger, the entrance is paid. On your strangers, they let you in for money-1 dollar.
There is no animation. But the sea and the fish make up for everything. We were in January and talked with the guides only about excursions. We swam more often from the pontoon. Than from the beach. Be sure to buy coral slippers. The hotel is cool, but choose the room meticulously. We changed it, because in the first window we looked out onto the neighboring fence.
