Yes, you can take out food and at the exit from the main restaurant (it is very decent, not at all a "canteen") there are two girls - Egyptians and they give out plastic boxes for food. But you can do both, they also put juice in dry rations. And then everyone on the bus will be with branded travel lunch boxes, and you will be with plates, even if they are plastic ones.
