I spent my first time in Egypt in this hotel. Then it was called Otium Golden. The hotel is on the second line, 10 minutes walk to the beach. The beach is shared by two hotels - Golden and Shores Aloha. The beach is large, there is enough space. Beach equipment in good condition. However, I did not like the entry into the sea at all. Entry from the pontoon, a small part where it is allowed to swim is fenced with buoys. There is nowhere to swim. It was in mid-December, the water is warm, but the sea is constantly stormy, swimming is not comfortable, a red flag often hangs. The beach is located in the Gulf of Amforas, where there is a very large depth almost immediately. You can say no sandy entry. This beach is not suitable for families with small children. There is dead, gray coral and some fish. Then I was still a beginner and I liked it, because there is not much to compare with. Now I understand that the reef is clearly not impressive. The food at that time was very good and varied. There were a lot of dishes and everything was edible for me. Perhaps this was, so to speak, the "merit" of German pensioners, since at that moment 95 percent of vacationers were precisely elderly Germans. There are no complaints about the room either - it is small, but clean, everything was in order. The territory is small, there are two pools, one of which is heated. There is a hill. In general, for its price, the hotel is very decent, especially if you are in Egypt for the first time.
