There are no shops or markets nearby. You can shop in the Baron (15 minutes on foot). We took a taxi to Old Market twice.

In Melia Sharm there is one shop with various equipment (fins, masks, arafats, etc.), one supermarket, one souvenir shop. So there is no point in going shopping to Melib Sharm. And in general, both Sinai and Sharm are quite far from any infrastructure. You can only go by taxi. We rested in Melia Sharm, it was embarrassing that there was not even a pharmacy anywhere nearby !!
