Has anyone traveled from Egypt to Israel on excursions? Many are not released by Israeli border guards? And how are such excursions organized by travel agencies, such as Pegasus?

https://www.turpravda.ua/il/blog-193642.html - read my story. Now it has become even worse with the passage of the border from Egypt to Israel. At your own peril and risk, no one gives guarantees but does not talk about it either. Good luck

We went to Israel last spring. They didn't let one girl out of our bus. The rest made it safely there and back. We flew to Egypt with Join Up, returned home on the eve of their flight problems. The organization of the Joint Up tour to Israel was normal. But it is advisable not to go for one day.

there was a situation in the year 16, they let everyone in, except for the Ukrainians, they marinated us all night with interrogations, it was very humiliating, they rummaged through all the things, some girls dug into hygiene items. it was a terrible night, at dawn they took pity and let everyone through, but the trip to the region was ruined ((

How lucky! In 16, they tried to get in and stood at the border from 23:00 to 10 in the morning. The night was just tin. No facilities other than a toilet. We only managed to sit down at 4 am. More than 20 people were brought back from our bus. And my wife and I are the same. Even though I've been there several times before. Once from the Egyptian side and the second from the Ukrainian side

I traveled from Sharm to Israel in June 2018. The tour was not taken from the hotel guide. About 1/3 of our bus (Ukrainians, Belarusians, a couple of Russians and Russian Germans) did not let through at the border. Among those who were "turned" at the border were only Ukrainians.
Together with us, a bus (they had a separate bus) passed the border with Russian-speaking tourists who bought this tour from Aneks. There they "wrapped" in percentage terms about the same (well, maybe a little less, but initially the number of tourists was more than ours). After passing the Israeli border, I had a strong opinion that the success of the passage does not at all depend on which TO you bought this tour from (or even in street agencies). On the Israeli border, we often had people mixed up from different buses (they tried to stick together, but it didn’t always work out), so I can’t imagine how you can separate / distinguish who is from the hotel guide and who is not. My opinion is that for the Israelis it does not matter at all.

Those whom the Israeli border guards turned during the initial survey had to undergo an additional interview. Later I heard complaints from these people about humiliating interrogations and picking at personal belongings. I didn't experience it myself (lucky!). In our bus, they even “smashed” a young couple of Ukrainians: they let the wife in, but turned the husband in.
In general, for me personally, everything was not so scary, because. I knew in advance (read on the Internet) and tuned in to a long procedure. And from the excursion there were sooo good impressions / memories. Never regretted going!

A couple of days earlier, friends from our hotel also went to Israel (from a street agency). They said that they passed the border much faster and easier, only a couple of people did not miss. We were later told that on the eve of this excursion of mine, 4 Ukrainians did not return from a similar trip. Those. supposedly went on an excursion, crossed the border, and then ran away from the excursion and remained in Israel. Here the border guards then "fierce", and recouped on the following tourists ...
In general - how lucky ...
And the tour is worth it! Good luck to you.

ninank29, there are two clarifying questions:
1. Russian-speaking tourists with what citizenship were they?
2. Did you end up wrapping more or less in percentage terms than on the previous bus? It’s just that if the percentage is the same, then the number of dropouts from the larger group should also be greater.

2. Wrapped up as a percentage in the end more or less ... "
ollennka, I don’t know about citizenship. In appearance and in communication - approximately like ours: Ukrainians, Belarusians, sometimes Russians. There was also a bus of Poles - but you can immediately hear them. After passing the Israeli border, everyone is sitting there and waiting for those who have not yet passed the border. Then we were sorted into buses. So while we were sitting (some are happy, and some are shocked by the procedure :-) ), we shared our impressions a little. They did not ask each other about citizenship. From Aneks the bus was larger than ours. In terms of percentage, their "output" (ie, those who were missed) was slightly better than ours, but not very significantly. And when passing the border, they don’t ask at all where / from whom they bought the tour, this is nowhere to be seen at all, because. all mixed up to the "booths" for the survey. Sometimes they ask for a voucher for checking into a hotel (I read that you need to take it with you - and for sure!).

It makes no sense for the Russians to flee to Israel in this way. Whoever wanted to, is already there quite legally. Yes, and now resettlement from Russia to Israel under a simplified procedure, there would be a desire. Only wishing ended. Therefore, Russians are allowed in 99%, Belarusians too, because. migration from Belarus is the lowest of the former USSR.
аватар ollennka
A certain percentage of Russians still violate and remain.
In 2018, remained in Israel (illegally / requested political asylum / married Israeli citizens):
Russians - 1.74% of incoming tourists
Ukrainians - 4.4%
Belarus - 1.74%
Moldova breaks records - 11% of tourists stayed in Israel for non-tourist purposes.

This question has already been discussed several times, do not be too lazy to look. Believe me!!! - crossing the border is in no way connected with the question - from whom did you purchase the tour in
Israel (on the street, or at the tour operator), if you have Ukrainian citizenship, get ready for a difficult border crossing procedure, they may not let you in, no one will explain the reason! You can lose both time and money - think carefully before you go on this tour!

Check out my feedback on crossing the border https://youtu.be/CcJv1hRmCcw Tried to take into account all the details. For Israelis, it does not matter at all whether you enter from the territory of Egypt, or flew to Tel Aviv, who organizes your tour, and even from what country you are. Everyone has both the risk of being turned back and the chance to visit Israel. I would take risks. Most of the cost of the tour, if anything, is usually returned if they are suddenly not allowed into Israel. The risks of flying directly are much greater: round-trip tickets have already been paid for, insurance has been bought, and the hotel has been paid for. Here we are talking about completely different amounts.

and with German passports it will be easier or they do not care ???
аватар catalina777
So to speak. The percentage of non-passing for Ukrainians is higher than for Europeans. But in general, they don’t pay much attention to nationality. There are other factors at play. With us, the French, an ordinary family, were taken for interrogation before the return flight. At the same time, Ukrainians passed this stage calmly... The same situation occurs when passing through passport control when entering the country.

Rested from 3.11-14.11. We went to Israel in two visits - in groups (we were resting 30 people). On the first trip, 5 people were not released from the entire bus, and on the second trip (three days later), 20 people were not released from the second group. As mentioned above - a trip at risk - only 50% of the cost of the excursion is returned in case of refusal to cross the border. The reasons for refusal are very different and sophisticated) So see for yourself.
