Safaga is a big exotic :) When we arrived there (in the village itself) for fruit, my husband, looking around, jokingly or seriously, crossed himself and said: "Thank God that I was born in Russia." This is not Sharm and not Hurghada!!! And hotels are more suitable for a "vegetable" relaxing holiday or a company that amuses itself (as we did). With animation there "no way". There are few shops near the hotel, a bit scary when compared with the city of Hurghada. In H. we went by taxi a couple of times.

Boats, if they swim, then from the parking lot far into the sea, and even then rarely. There are a lot of corals, they start about 20 meters from the shore. And I advise you to observe the variety of fish, throwing cookies to them - they will fly right away. once I saw an octopus, hiding among the corals.
