I get out of the situation in the following way: I store valuables, documents and money in a lockable suitcase. And I lock the suitcase exclusively with a padlock with a key. A code lock of 3-4 digits built into a suitcase is practically useless (I checked it myself - the maximum time it takes me to select a code of 3 digits is 10 minutes, because only 1000 combinations are obtained).
