Help with choosing a hotel for the month of January. Preferences: windless bay, sandy entry, good food
Departure 11-12.01, 3 adults, 7 days, budget $1600.
Today I am considering: IBEROTEL PALACE, NOVOTEL BEACH, Jaz Fanara Resort 4 *, Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5. I tend to Iberotel Palace, but I'm afraid that I won't pull the money and confuses the old number of rooms. Although I understand that the price should fall in the fall. Perhaps lovers of winter holidays in Egypt will advise something else? I’m ready to consider Hurghada, but I’m not sure that there are windless bays there.
Thanks!

Yes, and heated pools are a must. If there are slides, this is a plus, but not necessary. The absence of queues in restaurants and the availability of free sunbeds. I can't stand borrowing sunbeds in the morning. )

Three hotels are correct. But Phanara is cheaper for three people to take 2 rooms. Novotel on the alley is expensive. Iber might be lucky to fit in and the rooms are fresh. Reef oasis with a crowded beach and poor food, the rooms are dead. In hotels on BB HB there will definitely not be crowds of queues and food is normal. See hotels in Naama Bay
In Hurghada (Makadi) according to your wishes Sunrise Makadi, Fort Arabesque, Prima Life

It will be cooler in Hurghada, Sharm is still in the bay and not in the open sea.
Of the ones you named, Iberotel is preferable

Klichko, I really liked the hotel in Sal Hasheesh in Hurghada: Sunrise Romance Sahl Hasheesh Resort Grand Select 5 *. It 100% meets my "Wishlist". ) But I'm afraid that in January it will be very windy there. I'm thinking of leaving it for the summer. )
I also lean towards Iberotel. I thought maybe I missed something and they would suggest something similar to me for an alternative.

Klichko, please tell me, Sunrise Makadi is Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort 5*?
I understand that you have been there more than once in the winter ... Is it only the water park area that is heated or are there other heated pools?

Still ... but you can not count on the fall in prices. A classy hotel. I was in a lereve, I have never seen a more elegant hotel in egy. But the place is windy and the sea is far from the best
Iber is really the best option, only the water there will be colder than in Ras um side. There are no corals, it cools quickly. But the hotel is reliable, comfortable and delicious
Sunrise Royal Makadi is home. A bunch of heated bass, a great beach and it doesn’t taste better) But I agree, Sharm is more reliable in winter than the windless part of Makadi Bay. Although we regularly rest there in the winter. If you decide on Makadi, knock on the PM

klichko,
I am currently watching a video about Sunrise Royal Makadi, really awesome hotel! )))
I included it in the main list of my hotels, along with the Iberotel. I will monitor prices and then choose.
Thank you so much for the Makadi tip! )

Thank you, I watched Movenpick, the reviews are good about it. It confuses me a little that it is on a hill and I am afraid that it will be blown. And I also have a question about the Movenpick beaches: from the reviews, I realized that there are 4 or 5 of them, but is there at least one sandy entrance to the sea (I just can’t swim at all)?
аватар klichko
Movenpick winter hotel. There is a cutting. The hotel is tired. There are many complaints about the food. Unreasonably expensive on the alley, go broke on the BB. At the same price, definitely Iber
аватар vezha2
There is a sandy beach in Movenpick (cutting in the reef).

Thank you all!
I also wanted to ask if there are mosquitoes and jellyfish in January?
аватар klichko
There are no jellyfish, these reptiles will start in March. Mosquitoes are present, but not critical
аватар Nusia
Jellyfish have not been seen, but there are mosquitoes, but in good hotels they are poisoned by some type of smoke. If there are, then it’s better to buy a fumigator there, it helps better from “theirs” mosquitoes)
аватар klichko
In good hotels fumigators on demand

The most windless bay Naama Bay. Hotel Novotel Beach - the first line. It definitely has a sandy entrance. And at the depth of growth coral labyrinths. From Kharkov for 10 nights 1600 USD. Across the road (near) it is. It's called Novotel Palms. Hundreds cheaper. In this bay, almost all beaches have a sandy entrance. Good luck !

Sun Rise Makadi is a great hotel, been there twice. Heated water park and large swimming pool on the right. You drive into the hotel, on the left is the water park, on the right is this pool. Previously, even before the renovation, a large swimming pool near the bar was also heated, as you exit the main restaurant - to the right. We were there, there was just a repair, as it is now, I don’t know how the situation is. In general, this hotel has risen in price very well .. At the end of January 2017, we were there for five days for 10 days (4 adults + infant), the rest cost $ 1250. Now there are no such prices at all.
