June is a very popular month to travel. We ourselves regularly fly around the 10th. Due to the dryness of the air, the heat is transferred quite easily. We usually buy a tour 3 weeks in advance. Very nice offers can pop up that last literally 1 day. Monitor the situation. It may be that a longer tour is cheaper than a tour with fewer days. Cairo is best visited from Hurghada.

Better in Cairo and Luxor really in winter. We were at the end of May/beginning of June. For me, it was hot and, worse, stuffy. And if possible, of course, it is better by plane.
