try Sheraton Soma Bay 5 * (we were there in 2005, right after reconstruction): in the hotel the usual guests are decent Englishmen after 40k. Few couples with children, no noise. Although there is quite enough entertainment for you - disco, night club, bars, trips to golf courses, it is also very close to Luxor from there - I just recommend going there :) the Hotel has a huge territory with beautiful beaches (several km long, although there are very few rooms not enough!), there is a special area for diving. Very good food - fresh juices, fish, fruits. The rooms have bathrobes and slippers. And most importantly - I think you will fit in your budget. Have a nice rest!

I recently returned from Egypt, was in Desert Rose and was absolutely satisfied. a big plus for you is the lagoon. For those who are not good swimmers, this is a great solution. And the hotel itself is just wonderful, I want to go back)))
