Cruises on the Nile - only from Hurghada. We were in this - 5 years ago (with a child of 11 years old). The ship and the food on it were given 5 stars - by pull! (Maximum-4). On the ship, everything is included. -several hours!!!) Excursions and swimming left vivid memories. Definitely worth a look.

We took a cruise in Kyiv. The tour was for 11 days. If the tour is shorter, then they correctly write: the hotel is no longer very important. Upon arrival, we spent the night at the hotel, then a day to Luxor and in Luxor, then three days to Aswan and almost most of the day - the road to Hurghada. So with an 8 day tour, the hotel in Hurghada will take less than 5 days. It's definitely worth the trip. Food is similar to a hotel (if you have a 5 * hotel) But the cruise itself is something! Few people have been to Aswan, even fewer of our vacationers have been to Abu Simbel, and it's worth it. It is better not to see the pyramids for the first time. :) We had a tour for 11 days, so we also saw Cairo with the pyramids. Grand Seas Hostmark Hotel. We liked it. Green, calm, few "ours", mostly Germans, Italians, Europe in general, normal sea (lagoon, pier and just the sea next to the lagoon) The lagoon is shallow, for children, but the water in it was cooler than in the sea. The sea near the shore is also not deep.
Diving and windsurfing instructors, a nearby pub was engaged in kiting. But there was enough sea for everyone. Three days of the cruise in terms of saturation of impressions, there is little that can surpass. And such a sun (in December) the river and the banks were remembered for a lifetime. I would like to repeat.
