My son is included in my passport, the photo is 4.5 years old. I see that according to the law, from April 1, 2018, "glued" children will not be able to fly. Will we still have time to rest with such a photo period?

It seems to me that the answer is obvious - according to the law, from April 1, 2018, "glued" children will not be able to fly.
Get a passport for your child and fly without being tied to the law

You can take a chance :) you have the opportunity to check for yourself and share your impressions here :) but seriously, didn’t they inform you about this where you plan to buy a tour?

There has not yet been an official ban on crossing the border based on pasted photos. But in our country, laws are usually announced on the last day before they come into force. Therefore, it is better to issue a passport. After all, if you refuse to cross the border, the money for the tour is not returned.

If by the day of return from Egypt a period of 4 years and 6 months expires from the date of registration of the child's photo in the passport, the "pasted" one will not be able to go, because. the validity of any form of document for a person under 16 years of age is limited to 5 years.

I made a separate passport for my younger children so as not to take risks and spoil the rest and not lose money. In February last year for a week in the passport service ... now, of course, everything is much more complicated, longer, more expensive and in general. They filed for myself and my husband in January 2018 (we have ordinary foreign passports, and today they are not ready yet). And the eldest daughter was given a passport at the OVIR, in November 2017, they paid according to the accelerated scheme (officially at the OVIR about 800 UAH with kopecks) and in December she already received it and flew safely to her husband in Vienna. And in the passport service according to the accelerated scheme earlier than 1.5 months they said it would not work. The intermediary wanted 6000 UAH for 10 working days .... Perhaps we were so lucky, but we met the deadline in a month. Try it, when applying, my husband and I were also recommended to pay according to the accelerated scheme, but it doesn’t work for us and we refused, we paid 500 with something .... we need them by September ....

By the way, at the expense of the expiration date of the pasted photo. The son was glued in when he was 4 years old and he flew with us until the age of 10 ... no one said anything, only since 2017 he has been flying on his passport. Only in India (November 2014) there was a moment (but we just got there when my son was pasted in my passport, we flew to India, my visas and my son's were pasted in. Everything is fine there, but back on the passport control when we departed The Indian shook his head for a long time, poked his finger at the passport, son and said something while chewing so that even the husband, knowing English, could not understand what he wanted. and they let us in. Upon arrival, we learned that just in the middle of our stay, a law came into force that a child must have his own passport to obtain a visa (Indian changes) and the next time the son already received a visa in his passport, otherwise, they simply wouldn’t have given it. But in November 2015, we calmly flew to Sri Lanka according to the pasted photo.

Yes, and until 2017, we calmly drove children - the youngest was only inscribed, as it is small. And the son is glued .. There were no problems at all with Turkey and Egypt. .But now it's better to get a passport so as not to get into it. Too many moments because of which you can stay without rest and lose money. Your TA must also make sure that your documents are in order before giving you a tour, although according to the contract, you yourself are responsible for this part and if there is a problem with your documents, then these are your problems.

This is from a series of idiotic questions. The answer is clearly obvious.

Well, where does such information come from, according to what such a law! It's been discussed here many times already. Someone said , the rest picked up . And now travel agencies have massively started mailing about this " law " . I made a request to the border guards - they answered me that there were no changes in the law. You can do the same - it will be official information, with a seal and signature, and not someone said somewhere. And travel agents ( at least mine ) are guided not by laws , but by such " announcements " . But in fact - of course it is better to make a separate passport
