I do not recommend Nabq Bay (Jaz mirabel, laguna vista). Long pontoons, shallow sea - swimming is possible only from a pontoon, there is a current, during the week of our stay there was always a forbidden flag. Look for hotels in Sharks Bay, the most comfortable place, and the pontoons are not long and the sea is calmer. Check out Savita 5*, Sunrise Island 5*, Sierra 4*...

Beautiful grounds, bungalows by the sea, normal rooms. Just arrived (23.08.2009) from Savita Resort & Spa (Sharks Bay, Sharm)! The hotel is wonderful!!! Didn't want to leave! Of course, there is a small drawback that there are no discos in it, but this is only one minus of this hotel. If you are interested in details, write ... I will answer with pleasure!

I can say one thing that they settled us in room 1238 (EXCELLENT room), this is the first building on the second floor, we had a balcony, not a terrace, which is also very good. Keep in mind that odd floors, i.e. the second number corresponds to the number of the floor on which you will live, the first is the number of the building, we have 1 - this is the main large building. We had our own balcony, where we went out and no one else was there, and the terrace suggests that someone can walk and walk in front of your windows. The number was given to us at the reception, we did not give money. As they later realized, there is a constant assembly line, some leave, others arrive. The room was always cleaned well, there were no problems (they did not give tips at all ... they just rested in other hotels and left tips and then saw that this did not affect the quality of cleaning). The hotel staff is good and friendly.
We were not insolent, so the attitude was normal towards us. At the expense of the sea, because in Egypt is not the first time, then I can compare, somehow in this bay (Sharks Bay) there are not enough fish, but still there. What was a huge surprise was that we saw a big turtle on Saturday.

We practically didn’t swim in the pool (after all, it’s stupid to go so far and swim in bleach, but everyone can!) I know that there were games, competitions near the pool. In the evening there was some kind of fakir show, they chose Mister Savit, there was a national show (it's like everywhere else). Their music was somehow the same. I think if you take some interesting music collections, they will put them on. True, Muslims started Ramadan on Saturday... Maybe there will be some complaints about this. It will need to be clarified. We didn't see any clothes-swimming parties in the pool. They beat just in the evening lonely figures that swam in the pool. But it seems to be the same everywhere.
The hotel itself is very beautiful. Territory well-groomed, green. Alley of cacti is very beautiful.
