There is no sea in Sharm! That is, it is also with a lot of living creatures, but only for confident swimmers (depth of 20 meters plus strong currents). So you can only swim in the pools. And in Hurghada there are many good beaches with a sandy sunset and small coral reefs not far from the coast. And the service in Hurghada is better.

In Sharm near Savoie-Sierra and on all the beaches of Sharks Bay, in Domina Coral Bay (there is a cleared entrance to the sea), Royal Rojana and many other hotels have beautiful reefs, there is no fast cold current and you can swim in the sea with pleasure all the time year!

Sharm, Sharks Bay! Excellent reefs, small pontoons, good hotels. Look at the map of Sharm hotels in this bay - there is plenty to choose from. And no tides or currents. About 7-10 meters from the shore there is a sheer coral wall and thousands of all living creatures.

Sharks Bay, Savita Hotel 5*. Hidden in the rock from the wind, short pontoon, good food, open terrace for dinner. Itself was in December, I recommend.

I've been to Nubian Village too. Excellent sea. The reef is awesome. If you don't know how to swim, jump into the pool. if you spend money and go to Egypt, then it is better to spend it wisely: Sharm, where the sea is REAL. in Hurghada one sand, wind, colder. there are many bays in Sharm where there are no problems with a sandy beach.

I flew to Sharm a couple of years ago, and I do not regret that it was there. Firstly, it has the most convenient location for excursions, and secondly, the sea is full of living creatures. I am not a diver, but I went scuba diving there for the first time. eyes dazzled with beauty. like in a fairy tale. I even saw a sea turtle, nemo fish, flounder, various stingrays and many other colorful fish. people told me that in Hurghada this is deaf.

It’s just that people want to help so that they don’t make a mistake with the choice :) But in general, there is not a single good hotel in Sharm where you can relax with the whole family (for example, dad is a good swimmer, mom is not very good, but teenage children or grandmothers- grandfathers dumb to throw at such a depth).

I was in the Mexican Grand Resort ****. There are two-story houses, good rooms. I had a double (I paid extra, as I traveled myself). the hotel is excellent. as for youth - what you need. 2 swimming pools on the territory. one for kids (smaller than a paddling pool), and the second for adults. There is maximum shoulder depth. immediately in the pool there are special columns in order to order something in a street bar without getting out of the pool. Each room has air conditioning, bathroom (shower and toilet), safe, table with chairs for guests, TV.
