The key question here is what kind of promenade do you want? If Arabic - then you need to choose a hotel closer to the Old City, for example, in Hadaba. And if it’s more Europeanized, then either Naama Bay (mixed Arabic and European) or Soho (purely European) and, accordingly, take hotels closer. Barceló Tiran Sharm is really far from all the promenades.
