I really liked NG at The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort 5*.
There is no "entry" - you need to go down from the pier. But there are 3 descents: one at the end, like everyone else, and 2 in the middle. One in a large lagoon with corals and one in the "paddling pool".
But if you swim and look at fish and corals for 2-3 hours (like me), then I strongly recommend a wetsuit - full with long sleeves and legs - no thinner than 3mm.

Yes, it is always windy in Egypt in winter. But the wind does not interfere with sunbathing - it is hot on the beach during the day.

Last year we were in Somabei in December. The wind is so strong that it is impossible to swim in the sea. In February, we are also going to Egypt with a large company. Judging by the heap of material I studied, in winter it is better to go somewhere in the Sharma area. I would not like to fly past the sea just like last time. Therefore, for reliability (there may be children with us, we don’t know yet) I looked after two bays for myself, Sharks and Naama. And in Mars it's better at the end of spring ...

And about the second one, I categorically disagree - two meters from it begins a large lagoon with beautiful corals and fish. The lagoon is actually completely closed and when there is a storm on the sea there are no waves in it.
For 10 days on NG (I think 2012-13), the last descent was closed a maximum of 2 times - I don’t remember exactly. But the waves were still almost every day. My wife, fearing the waves, swam with great pleasure in the lagoon from the second descent.

bk003, yes, from the second descent the lagoon is big, but in beauty it loses to Shams. In Shams, the corals are much more beautiful and there are more fish. But Shams, although a four, is more expensive than Fairose.
