Egyptians save well on it, but you can work at the reception

Good Wi-Fi is a great substitute for a local SIM card for the Internet.

That's not the best criterion for choosing a hotel! Believe me, this is not the most important! You can always buy a local SIM card for an average of $10!

I support: people do not go to Egypt for the Internet. Yes, you may need it for work. Only a sim. Or "happy hours are not observed and the Internet is not used on vacation." And in general I love the area of Marsa Alam.

I have a laptop ... And I asked about WI - FI and not about SIM cards .....

Wifi is the same everywhere! Or rather, the average quality of communication!

kaide007 Well, if you are not interested in alternative good Internet, then clarify the question. Where are the hotels with good wifi? In the lobby, by the pool, in the bars or in the rooms? And are you interested in a good one or a free one? If good, then what budget are you willing to allocate for Wi-Fi?

Tropitel Sahl Hashesh-highly recommend, you can walk to the old town in 15 minutes or by bike, electric car along the alley along the coast (even with children it’s easy). Wifi is available, but normal at the reception.

you understand the meaning, the Internet is good only at the reception, and not at rush hour, when everyone goes out to eat

In Sharm in Concord, a new Wi-Fi was installed, free - only at the reception and on the street nearby. In the rooms - for extra. fee. In Savoy, apparently, a very strong Wi-Fi, because. on the beach of Concorde Savoy catches free Wi-Fi, although there is another hotel between them - Island View.

a couple of days back from Citadel Azur Sahl Hasheesh. Wifi is excellent, even if there are a lot of people on the Internet (in the evenings, often). catches wi-fi almost throughout the hotel: the lobby, and bars, and terraces on the street, and there are a lot of sunbeds near the lagoons on the beaches. and the hotel itself is simply gorgeous in many respects. were very satisfied. during lunch, at 12-14 o'clock, my wife was sitting in the lobby and watching a webinar on a laptop - everything worked quite decently.

I forgot to add: in all rooms, you can connect your laptop to wired internet for free (!!!!). worked great and good speed. The only caveat is that the hotel is not in the city. to the Sahl Hashish area is a long walk, since it is 1.5 km to go up from the main hotel building to the main road, which you need to go uphill. after that, turn left and about 700-900 meters to the gate that opens the entrance to Sahl Hashish, and there you still need to walk to see the square with luminous fountains, or the square of the pharaohs. and it will be a long way to get to Hurghada itself, or some kind of "living" area. a taxi will cost from the hotel from 25 dollars to Hurghada and back. group transfer by bus to the shopping center "Senzo mall" in Hurghada - 7.5 euros, round trip (for 3 hours, if I'm not mistaken). they just changed the taxi company, the price was posted the day before our departure.
