Please help me choose a hotel. We need a quiet, not expensive hotel with a sandy entry into the sea and preferably corals
I am considering Arabia, Arabella Azur, Mercure, Barselo Tiran Sharm. What would you recommend to choose from these hotels or maybe some other options.

I've been to the Mercury. One of the best hotels (been to many). It used to be 4+, now I don't know. But my opinion was drawn to all 5 *. Close to the airport, 10 minutes to go, the entrance to the water is cool, the sea is deep, the sand, but there are corals. There is something to see and at the same time you will not step on them when entering the water, the corals start a little further. I liked that it has its own amphitheater and its own disco. The food was great. Every day the dinner is themed. Either a fish day or a meat day, marine life was given ... in general, this hotel has everything you need to relax. We were with a child of 5 years old, and there were all conditions for the child. And for any adult for every taste leisure. Another nice point is that all living quarters are away from the disco and the amphitheater, who wants to go to bed early, then no noise. The animation was cool then, but then how lucky. Animators change every year. But anyway, I highly recommend this hotel.

And I was in the Mercure. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. I recommend it, but it's not cheap.

See "Tropitel Naama Bay*****" at Sharm El Sheikh.
Here is the hotel chain website (there are three of them, one of them is in Sharm): http://naamabay.tropitelhotels.com/naama-home
True, the photo here is not very good. Only part of the territory is covered, and they have a very large one. It's actually better.
We rested there (in this hotel, already 6 times). Last returned May 23, 2016.
In general, if you are interested, write. I will describe in more detail. Ask questions.

Desoli Seti Charm ... well, of course, if they made repairs. A beautiful beach and sea for children .. relatively inexpensive and imprisoned for a Russian-speaking vacationer with soviet habits and soviet unpretentiousness

faraana heights - corals on the left and right, sand in the middle (a gorgeous sea, especially with children), built in 2010 is located on the outskirts of nabq bay - the most calm (there is practically no animation), the price is seasonal, we took $ 1200 for three 11 nights from 2 to September 13th.
CAREFULLY! the hotel has a lot of tricks that no one talks about, but people will find out upon arrival. There will be questions to ask.

Check out hotels in Sahl Hasheesh.

The hotel is needed not noisy, for a young couple, I choose for my daughter and boyfriend. I will consider all recommendations. According to Sahl Hasheesh, we only invest in the Old Palace.
аватар Meltoma
bedro, thanks of course, but we'd better manage without soviet habits
аватар Meltoma
This year the price of Mercury is good, so we are more likely to lean towards him or Barcelo
аватар bedro
I called it Sovkov because the main guests from Russia are there ... a little better than "tagil" .. and it's a very cozy hotel in terms of location .. the sea is especially good there for children and the fact that the hotel is covered from the wind

plus Old Palace and Mercury
"not noisy for a young couple" with a sandy entrance and corals Jazz Makadina, ideal Makadi Spa (16+) Today, a very pleasant price tag for hotels of this level
аватар Meltoma
hipro I do not need the sea for children, my children are adults and swim well. Rather need a hotel 16+
аватар Meltoma
Klichko I think in Makadi we will not meet the price, although I will monitor prices. Sunrise Makadi is cheaper, it was also considered.
аватар klichko
I don’t advise in Sunrise Makadi ... I was in May, I was very disappointed, not to say angry ... it’s disgusting to even leave a review. And the situation right now is far from languid ... very noisy and too childish
Check out Makadi SPA For 11 nights, join up gives a great price...luxury rooms, service, cuisine, relaxation, public...just what the doctor ordered for a couple in love
Mercury and Old Palace are good too. True, in the Old Palace there were complaints about food. Mercury is holding on
аватар Meltoma
klicko thank you very much, I'll look at join up's prices. True, I recently read that they now have problems and overlays with Turkish hotels, maybe with Egypt it’s normal. My sister was in Iberotel Makadi Beach relatively recently, she says the rating, price and accolades are too high.
аватар klichko
Makadi beach old greedy cunning Jew! all fell apart, stinks, and the requirements are like those of a young one. It doesn’t get how a wreck soars for such bablos
Makadi Spa is only 3 years old. The hotel is designed for lovers, they don’t even accommodate the three of us. It's worth it ... although it will be difficult to grow
Joinina herself was afraid last year, but there are no jambs in her
аватар Meltoma
klicko you have wonderful reviews! Has Sunrise Makadi gone bad? Last year we were in the Mamluk, not bad, though the sea did not like it.
аватар 47s5pfgs
The joint lottery and the shoals of them were sometimes small, sometimes large: in charm, they almost missed the plane by the whole bus!
аватар klichko
merci on a kind word;) The food has fallen, the darkness of the Arabs, the queues are everywhere, the sea is dirty, the boats got further down the list. For a month the hotel was changed. If not for the favorite VIP zone, it would be quite gloomy. I will skip the 20th visit until reliable sources report
I have been to the Mamluk garden many times... the sea is already... but then at least the hotels were fresh and delicious. CRM is definitely more comfortable, tastier ... that's why I switched over. But in all the sunrises of the Arabs now swarmed
Your task is difficult ... just right to play solitaire
аватар Meltoma
Yes, I choose, I throw off the children. Mercure $1321, Jaz Makadina $2391, very expensive. The Makadi SPA is not available for our dates, but I think no less.
аватар L_ena
Don't go to Old Palace. This is a budget hotel in an expensive area. Ride the Mercury. Once it was Sofitel. The customer service there remained at a good network level.
аватар klichko
strange ... the difference is too impressive. What dates how many nights are you looking at?
I agree with the previous speaker ... Mercury is a great option at a super price
аватар Kasja23
And I'm for Mercury. One of our snorkelers managed to film on a local tiny reef
the entire fauna of the Red Sea. True, she has already rested there a dozen times)))
аватар Meltoma
I'm looking from 09.07 for 10 or more nights. This is the price of Join for 11 nights. For two adults.
аватар Meltoma
Why are there no reviews for Arabia, Arabella, Bel Air? Nobody was or didn't like it?
аватар Meltoma
Another requirement is a minimum of CIS and a minimum of children.
аватар Kasja23
Sandy entry already implies the presence of children. Or it must be originally a child-free hotel,
premiers type. Arabia. Arabella and Belle have a good reef. Few reviews because
not the base hotels of our TOs. and earlier in Belle, if I'm not mistaken, the CIS was not taken.
аватар inna4ka
Cheap, without children, calm, with a sandy entrance and no CIS - requirements from the category of fantasy.
Mercury is a cool hotel, but it is located alone in the desert, you won’t be able to walk, only by taxi.
Of the cheapest, but with good reefs, I recommend Zahabia in Hurghada, Falcon in Sharm (but with a panton reef there, there is a small piece of sandy entrance to the sea), Shedvant Festival in Hurghada - three beaches for every taste (but there are a lot of CIS).
аватар Meltoma
I know where Mercury is, was nearby in Beach Albatross. In addition, my sister was resting in Mercury, she said not badly. Inna4ka, do you think that I have listed really cheap hotels? Mercury this year is not expensive, in the past it was much more expensive.
