I have big kids - so I can't give you any useful advice about slides for your son... The only thing I can say is that a cheap hotel will ruin your whole holiday. If there is not enough money, then be prepared for everything unpleasant .. since a budget vacation is just like that - with disappointment .. sometimes indignation and resentment for wasted money. Save money for a NOT cheap hotel.

I fly all the same in Dessole Pyramisa Sahl Hasheesh 5 *, I know that it’s average, but .... We really wanted to go to Sunwing Waterworld Makadi 5 *, but there are no flights on suitable dates (((I read reviews, I saw enough photos, but then bam ... not fate ((( upset of course
So we fly where there are places and departures, there are slides and the sea is good, by the way there are no big low tides. My friend just called, she is in the Dessole Pyramisa Sharm El Sheikh Resort and says that everything is very dirty there ... and this hotel is better in reviews than mine ... now I am sitting meditating, I am tuned in to the fact that nothing will prevent a good rest. ;)

Go to Turkey or Greece - it's much cleaner there .. Think - you have time .. Or try to choose a hotel in Egypt in El Gouna ... it's 20 km from Hurghada - google and read about this place. But there, not all hotels take children.
