A normal hotel with its pluses and minuses, and despite the fact that the child was a year younger than us, walking to the beach and back did not bother us at all, the food was also quite satisfactory, but the sea and a small child in this hotel are not compatible. As a result, the child got to know the sea normally only in Greece.

Since I have 3 children (we have been vacationing since the age of 1) and for many many years and in many countries, I would recommend the children's hotel Caribbean World Soma Bay 5 * Hurghada (not all operators sell it, depending on what city of departure you have) with a good beach, miniclub, food. And if you want to save a little money, then the SUNNY DAYS EL PALACIO 5 * hotel (it has a lagoon, and a playground on the beach right in the center of the hotel, the miniclub is good if you take it from the Coral operator - then you will also have the Sun Family Club (many additional services for a holiday with children, you can look at the TIA HEIGHTS MAKADI BAY AQUA PARK hotel, but it has a huge territory (you need a stroller or so that the baby loves to walk and run a lot, and does not ask for hands.
I can recommend hotels where it will be interesting for both children and adults. they have a lot of children's entertainment, as well as good reefs near the coast. In both hotels I rested with my child (now 4.5g) and sent many tourists to them - there were no dissatisfied)

In Hurghada - Lilly Land, a very large area, landscaped and green, sand on the shore, a shallow lagoon, and what I really liked is children's animators (they do a lot with children), there are no youth discos under the windows, there are both buildings and bungalow, own water park (which is important). During the observation period, the price has decreased slightly.
What exactly we will buy in the end, I don’t know yet, because they can be considered one whole, for our days of vacation for three, the difference is 10 tons. This is not a fundamental figure on the total amount of the trip. So far, Waterworld is a psychological priority due to its proximity to the sea.
