better to go to an allergist. because this disease is quite individual. if you are sure that it is in the sun, then really, somewhere 3 days before departure to Egypt, start drinking any of the pills already listed above, I personally prefer zertek, and continue taking them until you arrive home. but still it seems to me that your rash is not connected with the sun. but rather with the Red Sea. it is quite salty (Mediterranean is less salty), and sea salt is very often a reaction. It is very easy to check, if you have the same reaction to the sun everywhere (both at home and in other countries except for Egypt), then this is photosensitization (solar allergy ), if only in egi, then this is not the sun's fault. I have had this only once - in Turkey. a couple of my friends also had a similar allergy - most likely, as already said, to salt, and not to the sun. saved themselves with some local allergy pills. if you don’t want to get involved in tests (this is far from cheap), just be careful - a shower after each bath will wash off the salt and reduce irritation, and avoid direct sunlight (suddenly the allergen is still the sun’s rays)
