Look at the Sunrise Holiday hotel with the Pegasus tour operator (!!!) www.pegast.ru. The hotel is good, the guide at the hotel is Mukhsen, generally a great guy! With only Hurghada, the sea is not very good there !!
Go to Sharm, the sea is gorgeous, I also went with a travel agency for the first time.
Hotel Sea Life and Sea Club 5 *, see my review on travel truth, now I'll drop the link. The budget of 1340 dollars for two was in August, I think it will be cheaper in October.

I advise you to try, Sun Rise El Palacio, or now it is simply called El Palacio. I was there with my husband a year ago in November. We really liked the hotel due to the fact that it is not far from the center (2 minutes by bus) and built with the letter P (protects from the winds). There are a few Russians in the hotel. We really liked the food (a good amount of fruit and meat). There is a sandy beach, but there are also corals nearby. have a nice holiday!
