The ferry that runs between Aqaba in Jordan and Nuweiba in Egypt has risen in price. According to sob. corr. Travel.ru, now the cost of the trip is $60 one way on a high-speed vessel and $100 when buying a ticket there and back (one hour on the way each way); $50 and $80 respectively on the slow one (three hours on the way). Children from two to eight years of age receive a discount, and children under two years of age travel free of charge.
Prices do not include departure fees from Jordan (5 dinars - $7.1) and Egypt (50 pounds - $9.2). There are two ferries per day in each direction. The exception is Saturday, when only the slow one walks.
