How can I get certain seats on a charter in advance?
I heard that it is possible to book certain seats on the plane in advance via the Internet. Who faced and used it? Is it possible on a charter flight (flying UIA)?
Previously, there was no such need, but now there is - you need to get places where you can stretch your legs, as far as I know, this usually happens near the emergency exit or in the first row.
Perhaps this topic has already been discussed somewhere, I will be grateful for the link.

when checking in for a flight, ask for seats at the emergency exit, they will not refuse, the sooner you check in, the more likely it is that you will get these seats

Thank you!
Do you think disability docks can help?
I made a request to the company, no response yet.

You can book your own seats the day before. Go to the UIA website and check in for your flight. There is a diagram of the aircraft and you can put yourself in a comfortable place.
We just never do this and always get seats near the emergency exit. It's simple: these places cannot be pre-booked. Here they remain. But there is a small minus: the backs do not recline, but there is a lot of legroom.

We click on the button "registration on-line", then select "charter flights" Then we enter the data: flight number, last name and first name of the passenger.
In general, everything is written there :-)

Viltis, thank you so much! I will learn.

I was glad to help:-)
Just think about it, is it necessary .. maybe it’s better to let them put them near the emergency exit .. There the girls at the registration will enter into position. They are not animals.

Thanks, we'll think about it ;)

for charter flights there seems to be no online registration. only for ordinary ones. + during online check-in, you cannot select emergency exit seats. it is necessary, as advised above, to come one of the first to register and ask. documents will help.
emergency exit seats (without requests) are the last to be filled. and sometimes even empty. I switched a couple of times

Thank you!
And I was not mistaken that there will also be more space in the front row? The last time they flew almost a year ago, maybe I'm confusing.
аватар Viltis
They leave the first row for kids .. in my opinion
аватар sandra-art
yes for kids. or those who are late for registration and only the first row remains (taking into account the fact that there are no kids)
but on regular flights, I don’t advise asking for the first row (it turns out to be the 4th or 5th. It’s very uncomfortable there. There’s also a business class curtain hanging.

I'm talking about a charter flight (package tour to Egypt, flight to Hurghada). Therefore, once again, if not difficult, specify - the first row does not make sense to catch?
аватар Viltis
Open your registration and take a look. All places that cannot be booked are crossed out. You don't lose anything. Just look. Online check-in opens 11 p.m. and closes an hour before departure.

It has. I was sitting there. togas can be pulled out. and with my 178cm this is important. we got the first row, because we idiots smoked for a long time, and then they also wrapped things in film and the last ones came for registration.
the same thing happened in 2008 in Turkey. but it's not our fault - our very last bus arrived at the airport. and also the first row for us) is convenient

Seats can only be booked on scheduled flights

This year we are from Hurghada - from Pegasus, UIA flew on the first row, it was convenient, there was a lot of space. At the airport, for only $1 (how much they asked for at check-in), we got such seats purely by chance in the middle of the queue, and for some reason, with children, everyone was put on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th rows.
