Need a 4* hotel in Hurghada
I am traveling alone for the first time, I need a beautiful hotel (beautiful territory) with diving, seafood and plant foods, animation, excursions. And in general, how much money to take with me? Please remember the questions that tormented you before the trip and please voice the answers to them. Maybe I missed something? And maybe I shouldn't go there alone??

I highly recommend Royal Palace 4*+. It is inexpensive, and at the same time everything is so beautiful there that I could not even imagine what else could be done to make the hotel 5 * ... The hotel is on the first line, i.e. on the seashore. The territory is large and beautiful, near the buildings there is a heated hotel (I liked to swim there before going to bed and before breakfast, the rest of the time there is the sea), there is also a large unheated pool, but at the end of April somehow it was not very drawn to it. The hotel is located near the center of Hurghada. Therefore, if you return from the center to the hotel at night, minibuses go to the Royal Palace, and this is very good, because. no need to spend money on a taxi. Further, it is very good that there are few Russians in the hotel (in Churtsia, I realized what a horror it is when these drunken"new Russians" louts arrange night fights...), but here the Germans are mostly resting. Therefore, the attitude towards vacationers is appropriate. They also took us for the Germans, apparently because we are bright and spoke English with them, and not Russian.
The food was wonderful, everything was edible, and there was no line anywhere for food. A gas burner is turned on under each dish, so that the food is always hot and constantly replenished.

Continuation about Royal Palace. From the animation, I did not participate, but I remember that in the afternoon on the beach, belly dancing and volleyball. And in the evening a couple of times a week shows, even a snake charmer somehow came. But it makes no sense to spend evenings in this hotel, because. a couple of minutes drive - the center of Hurghada, and there is the whole drive! The hotel has a diving center, my husband went scuba diving, and I swam with a mask for company. But there are almost no hotels in Hurghada with their own coral reef. From there they go on a yacht to the coral islands. You can buy excursions without problems or on the day of arrival from a hotel guide 2 times more expensive. Or in Hurghada at any travel agency that you meet on the way (I recommend). I have not heard anything about libraries in Egyptian hotels. When did you go there to read?

Sofitel Hurghada. Read reviews here.
Standard "fears " of the first trip. Believe me, on the second day all fears will go away.

I agree with HotLine's answer, I was in this hotel myself. Read reviews:

if you are interested in diving, then you should choose the Makadi Bay area, there are good corrals there. and it won’t be difficult to find a hotel, there are about 30 of them in that area (including 5) if I’m not mistaken

Thank you all very much for your comments. I opted for the Royal Palace Hotel after all. But also no one told me how much money I should take with me and should I go there alone? I am quite an emotional girl and it will be a serious test for me not to be able to share my emotions with someone. And in general, 10 days of silence and loneliness in a foreign land =))).
аватар Bear-cub
sashagordeeva: I went to Turkey in July, and I was also afraid of loneliness. so you need to choose a hotel where there are a lot of rooms, so that there are a lot of people. on the beach next to someone, lie on a sun lounger - so get to know each other! or at the table while eating. and loneliness is very well diluted with excursions, where you will not be bored. there will be a large crowd, which must quickly run after the guide))) money - as usual, the more the better. and depends on the type of food. if you choose "all inclusive ", then the money is needed only for excursions. Then 300 bucks is enough.

There are no libraries there, take paperback books with you, in terms of money, I usually take 100 bucks for souvenirs for relatives and friends, 200-250 for excursions (read in the reviews what they have and how much they cost), and if you are going to duty free to buy something approximately calculate the cost. This is provided that everything is included in the hotel, if not, then also for food, I don’t know how much. We always go all inclusive.

The first trip to Egypt, the Royal Palace 4 * hotel, he personally arranged for me, although many have complaints about him. But that was three years ago. I warn you right away, when you check in, you need to give $ 10, so that later you don’t have problems, and don’t constantly go to the reception, with persistent complaints. We lived in the main building, not very bad, the plumbing worked well. Sitting in a hotel for eight days is very boring, take books with you, if you firmly decided not to go to Luxor and the pyramids, then I still advise you to take a boat tour to the "paradise island", and walking around Hurghada is just as interesting. But do not go alone, find friends, in the city the Arabs are simply wild. 15$-visa, 10$-accommodation, and for small and not expected expenses 100$, preferably in small denominations. Lastly, upon arrival, do not be shy, ask who has been there for a long time, I mean from the CIS, what is where, and how, so that there are no pleasant misunderstandings. I think you will like everything there.

I was in Albatros Aqua Blue 4 * (Aqua Vista), a wonderful hotel with beautiful territory. Very good animation. The food is excellent: crabs, mussels, barracuda and other exotic dishes. Pastries and fruits are plentiful. Has its own coral beach. On the territory of the hotel there is a night disco, Cobra - show (very impressive !!!) There is no library. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I really liked it. I will return there again!

I do not recommend a woman to go to Hurghada alone! and if you go then do not go alone outside the hotel! $300-400 is enough for the eyes!

Sofitel 4 * definitely! Look - a lot of reviews and all positive.

Thanks again to everyone for the great advice!! I'm going to the Royal Palace. Lots of things planned. In the city, I am alone and do not plan to roam. Only with excursions. Hope everything will be great. I promise that when I return I will share my impressions =)))

Dear sashagordeeva, the old city is very interesting, and there are no tours around it, my advice to you is to get to know our people, the main thing is that there should be a man, and walk without problems. In stores, be careful, most of the goods are made in rank.
аватар sashagordeeva
Of course, I hope to meet a man =))). But if it doesn't suddenly happen, then wrapping myself up like cabbage, I'll try to get at least to Ramstore =)))).
аватар Bear-cub
sashagordeeva, I dare to assure you that it is absolutely safe for a lonely girl to walk around the resort cities of Hurghada and Sharm. We are considered solely as tourists and a source of potential profit. Therefore, the maximum that threatens you is to be lured into the store and subjected to persistent persuasion to buy something. There is another option that they will tell you that they fell head over heels in love with you, etc. But no one will steal you into a harem. And in the evening, it seems to me, it is more dangerous to run into a drunken Russian there))) And what is interesting in Hurghada is not the old city, but the new one. In the old dirt and neglect. And in the new cafes, discos, etc..
аватар DREAMS
There are also no discos in the new one, but there are no people anywhere, only in PAPAS BEACH ($ 16 entry) and then a dozen drunk Poles and local Arabs, about 30 pieces. Of the girls, only our fat women who make contact with the Arabs. The Arabs are immediately visible from with raised collars of their shirts ** AND HERE IS A GUY FROM THE EAST, HE DANCES CRUELLY HE IS LOOKING FOR A WOMAN ** and like that. After the nightclubs and casinos of SHARMA, we were shocked by this.
аватар Bear-cub
All the discos in Naama Bay (this is the main bay of Sharma), apparently, dreams simply were not in Naama Bay. So, the most driving discos are Little Budda and Hard Rock Cafe. I liked the last one a lot. By the way, if you go there an hour or two earlier (the bar is open), and then stay, then the disco will turn out to be nasharu)) True, the prices in the bar are exorbitant :(
аватар Bear-cub
And, you are going to Hurghada))) Well, in Hurghada even 4 years ago there were a lot of discos. Both individual and owned by hotels. You will find out everything on the spot)) In general, in Hurghada it’s just nice to walk around the city in the evening, sit in a cafe with a glass of beer and a hookah ..
аватар DREAMS
There is not a damn thing to people at the discos in Hurghada, there are discos but they are all empty without people, MONSTRESS don’t confuse HURGHADA WITH CHARM, in SHARM we walked to the fullest, you can read our review about the nightlife of SHARM, ABOUT NIGHT CLUBS AND CASINO where we spent whole nights. I don't like to explain everything, basically I'm of the opinion --DO NOT ARGUMENT WITH A MORON OR YOU WILL DOWN TO HIS LEVEL AND HE WILL CRUSH YOU WITH HIS INTELLIGENCE--.
аватар Bear-cub
DREAMS Based on what you wrote, you yourself are a moron. if in 45 years the mind is enough to insult a girl for nothing. and at your age it’s harmful to sit all night in the casino, take care of your health, intellectual
аватар sashagordeeva
Everyone has the right to express their opinion, even if it is wrong. Every person has the right to make mistakes. And this is not a reason to offend anyone. By insulting another you show:
1. His"excellent upbringing ".
2. And of course the level of your intelligence.
3. Your complexes.

sashagordeeva: thanks for the support =) don't forget to write a review about royal palace when you get back. I wonder how things are now.

noo, ok, definitely
