About personal safety abroad
I'm watching the program "Let them talk" about a girl beaten and raped in Egypt in a 5 * hotel in Hurghada, and my hair stands on end! It turns out that any maniac from among the employees can freely enter your room and commit a crime! And the police of Egypt, Turkey and other countries remain indifferent! Like TO! Almost unanimous opinion of the Russians from the screen - do not go to Egypt and Turkey! And who guarantees us safety?!

Our safety is our own business and concern, unfortunately. There are more dangerous countries, there are less, but nowhere can you feel 100% safe.
In Egypt, in general, there is a peculiar attitude towards the law ... But you are in vain about Turkey - there is a normal police, effective.
As for TV programs, and specifically this Malakhovism, absolutely everything that flows from there is an order. In this case - an order to inflate "as everything is bad abroad, relax in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory."
аватар PolikSVT
I also always liked the joke: “The sponsors of the riots in Egypt are the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory,” but here the situation is absolutely not custom-made (there are other sources besides Malakhov). Yes, and in Turkey, acquaintances more than once got into a situation where neither the representatives of the TO in the hotel, nor the local police simply "hushed up" the conflict, the Italians and Germans raised their hands against our women (almost grannies), and the hotel employees "did not see anything." I would like to hear the opinion of TA representatives on how such situations are resolved with the TO or the consulate.
аватар Pachok
You know, when I hear that the Italians and Germans "raised their hands against our women", I clearly see a picture of our drunken insane aunts climbing to sort things out and fight with the "Bundes", and they are forced to defend themselves :)))
If we talk about a serious situation, then the TO representatives don’t care at all, except for selling excursions, and in order to contact the local police, you need to be able to connect at least two words in English or Turkish.

"Malakhovshchina", of course, "rules". But it is impossible not to admit that our (CIS) tourists corrupted the popular resorts of Egypt and Turkey and their servants, and thereby allowed themselves to be treated with permissiveness. After all, it is not without reason that in Sharm, Hurghada and Kemer, foreigners are already like dinosaurs (ie, an endangered species) and arrange hotels for themselves, in which they simply do not accept us. Do you agree that it's embarrassing?
аватар PolikSVT
I absolutely agree that the way we are treated in these countries is also the fault of our compatriots. Opinion evolved over the years and "layers". But it seems that recently there has been a reverse trend: we drink less, we behave more worthily. Or it seemed to me?
аватар jabetta
It is much easier to ruin a reputation than to return it later - "ce la vie."
аватар sigur62
Everything is easier - you have to travel with your husband. A lonely young woman, frankly dressed, or rather undressed, drunk and cheeky, is able to provoke a half-savage Bedouin to any crime.
аватар jabetta
In the meantime, not married, what, sit at home? So this is not a conversation either. And what if a young woman with a child wants to go on vacation while her husband earns money? I think it's not normal that there is such a danger.

What can you say? I wouldn’t recommend watching “Let them talk” to impressionable people, because drunks and drug addicts talk about their life, and deputies talk about how to help them, then all sorts of horror films about sharks, yachts, etc. , - the result is unclear, but everyone is scared. No one can guarantee you 100% safety anywhere, however, a lot depends on us, as mentioned above. I can say from myself that I have never seen Italians or Germans raise on our hand, so that the staff is rude, so that the representative of the TO does not care about your requests and complaints (if they are in essence). Maybe just lucky, although there were all sorts of hotels and people in them too.

Yesterday in this program they showed a photo of this blonde-beauty girl with a model appearance. How could her young man let her go ALONE to an Arab country ???
аватар 44astra44
Agree !! I would be afraid to go alone even to the resorts of the Caucasian Mineral Waters! It is not safe to walk alone in Russia late at night! I myself live in Sochi at the resort and in connection with the Olympics, there are a lot of different nationalities and I don’t go late at night! !!!I also took a tour to Egypt at the end of September, I'm going with my husband! All the same, there is a residue after the events. I don’t know what’s going on with people! Brutalized all in pursuit of money and pleasure! Probably the end of the world is approaching:(((((((I still love the Red Sea and the mysterious country of Egypt!

well, crap, comrades. everyone provokes the situation around them.
I travel by myself or with a friend. unmarried, didn't seem to mind. but for some reason no one touches me?!
you have to be elementary careful in a foreign country, take into account the mentality of the country in which you are, and not provoke conflicts.
yes, most of our citizens have corrupted closed, once, Islamic countries. Egypt is still "in the backyard". Turkey is quite progressive, and there are at least such situations (there remains % of mentally ill perverts that we also have at home)
аватар Anetka-gan
about this girl, the situation is terrible. the hotel where it all happened has always had a bad reputation. These are all cons of hotel management.
аватар sigur62
You're just doing the right thing. Therefore, you will not be poisoned on the yacht with methanol and will not be credited to the hotel. And that's great.
аватар Anetka-gan
Here I am FOR EVERYONE to learn how to behave correctly. it's simple! and safer for yourself.
аватар 44astra44
The fact that you need to behave normally is one thing !!!!! For some reason, everyone says that we arrived and corrupted the country ... But no one says that we are tourists from another country and respect us! This is their business and they live and develop at the expense of this business!! We come to rest, not to live in this country! Why do Arabs talk obscenely with our women in front of their husbands??? Who allowed them?
аватар amazon_ka
Does anyone know the name of the hotel where it all happened?
аватар STATELY
I, too, would never go to an Arab country alone. Especially the first time! And even if the husband earns money, as they say here, then she would not go alone with the child either. I would take my mother or a friend. I always vacation with my friends. We always get to know each other and travel everywhere with the locals of any country we visit. We are from Ukraine. And we want to note that everyone respects us very much. The attitude is excellent - both working staff and local ordinary residents. I'm not even pleased to hear about how bad Arabs or Turks are. I've come across the best!!! I just love Turkey! This is my favorite country. Egypt is more difficult. When I first arrived there, the hotel was 4 *. YES! On the second day, I was just sick of all the anxious Arabs, employees and sellers. We complained to our hotel guide, he made a remark. Nobody else touched us. Even afraid to contact. And already on the second trip to Egypt, I simply chose the best hotel according to the reviews and recommendations of the agency. It just doesn't compare to previous employees. It's a completely different level and completely different people work there. From this second trip, I just fell in love with Egypt just like I did with Turkey. The conclusion is one and simple: go to normal hotels.

The girl was not alone, but with friends who insisted on calling the police and hospitalization. If there were no friends, who knows how it would have ended :( The hotel workers even managed to clean the room and wipe the blood before the police arrived.
Pyramisa Blue Lagoon Hotel.
Personally, I feel uncomfortable in Egypt.
аватар ewgenia
Such nonsense. Egypt is the safest country, even if they whistle after you, the Arabs will never do anything, they are very strict with this, and even more so, they will not touch hotel visitors without her permission. Most likely, with whom this happens, they themselves call to their number. And about the show on television - this is a SHOW, don’t be suckers, don’t watch any nonsense, and if you do, don’t take everything at face value, actors play there, I know for sure, because. familiar actors and all fictional stories. There are still such gullible people in the world, it's just ridiculous.
аватар irishka82
What are they strict about? Arabs in Hurghada can afford to salivate at our girls, and those don't have to be frankly dressed. Yes, I agree, ours corrupted them themselves, but they treat everyone this way, including those accompanied by their husbands. I experienced this on a personal example, when, when buying souvenirs in a shop, the heir of the pharaohs tried to touch a little lower back, for which he almost ended up with a broken arm and began to call his neighbors. But when the magic word "police" sounded, everyone calmed down. Among any nation there are normal, decent people and there are stinkers.
аватар irishka82
And as for what they have there strictly with this or that, so I’ll tell you: there are Arabs who observe, and there are assholes who pray 5 times during the day, and in the evenings hang out at discos and crawl with our girls who go to Egypt " in search of adventure" and because of which then suffer women and girls who go to the sea and rest.
аватар ewgenia
I agree, freaks are everywhere, but they are very afraid of the police. And in the hotel, they just pester, but to rape, this is unlikely, they have the death penalty for this.
аватар Pachok
The death penalty for the rape of a decent girl. For sharmut, to which the especially gifted include all uncovered women, nothing will happen.
аватар irishka82
I agree with Pachok, and they are also very solidary with each other, so the evidence was credited before the police arrived.
аватар 44astra44
In September, I'm going to Egypt with my husband, I'm already scared .... Maybe someone who recently arrived will reassure !?
аватар irishka82
Turkey also has its charms, now we’re laughing with a friend when we remember, but then she was not laughing, she’s good for my mother, she’s 56, went for a massage, got to a young handsome Turkish massage therapist, obviously not offended by the attention of women, including "very mature". He offered Anya rest in an original way: he put his cock in her palm when she was lying on her stomach and face in the hole in the table
аватар irishka82
555Alena555 don't be afraid of anything, because you are not alone. Be together, with each other, with your husband nothing threatens you.
аватар Pachok
Alena, choose a better hotel (based on reviews, not on the stars and recommendations of TA), in the "city" do not go far from your husband, focus on the beauties of the Red Sea, and everything will be fine.
irishka82, the story is tin :), this is not the first time I hear about this :) I just decorated an omelette with roses and sent notes - "come, they say, villager, to the hayloft as it gets dark," the boy was almost like a son.
аватар Anetka-gan
