An exhausting road through the desert, and the smell ... at the pyramids in particular .... there are camels without bags to collect excrement. The pyramids have terribly arrogant merchants and only merchants. In the light of recent events (a sightseeing bus with tourists burned down), I would not risk it at all. Drivers are wild. There are no rules, and most importantly - no responsibility.

I liked Alexandria more - civilization (even the traffic lights work): a lot of greenery, the Mediterranean Sea is super! And shopping for papyrus, gold and perfume is not necessary - save your strength, all these shops are the same everywhere (the owners agree with the guides).
