Very interested in:
- what sights can be seen in Luxor?
- what for what (excursions (Cairo, Luxor), diving)
- Do all hotels offer excursions (or do you have to go somewhere to negotiate)
- which hotels in Hurghada (Sharm El Sheikh) are not worth going to
- is it possible to go to Luxor and Cairo in one week in Egypt, and also swim in the sea (or is it too stressful for health)

There is a lot to see in Luxor (highly recommend): Karnak Temple, Kollos of Memenon, the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Luxor Temple (they usually don’t take them there - just a panorama), a banana island, the temple of Queen Hatchapsut and various factories.
Excursions are offered in all hotels, but you can book cheaper in agencies, which are numerous and located on every corner.
For hotels, read more specifically on the Internet.
For 1 week you can visit Luxor (1 day) and Cairo (1 day) and actually 5 days on the sea itself;)

In Luxor you can see: Karnak Temple, Colossi Memenona, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Luxor Temple (this is usually part of a two-day tour of Luxor, Hatshepsut Temple).
Excursions will offer: Your guide (from the meeting travel company), hotel guide, or any travel agency (there will be cheaper, but not everywhere they are, if the hotel is far from Hurghada). You can also go to Cairo for a day and stay at sea for another 4 days. We rested at the Sofitel Hurghada, I liked it.

Most often, all of the above in Luxor is shown as part of one trip. However, there may be variations, they depend on the agencies that offer you a trip. Cairo for 1 day is very tiring...and the program of the second day is more interesting....Among other things, there are many local excursions, which will also take time. In general, you can get to know Egypt in 7 days, but you will hardly have time to fully enjoy the sea ...

diving costs $35 in Sharm. Excursion to Cairo from Sharm 65$

What an active tourist! Two excursions to Luxor and Cairo in a week is too much. After a trip to Cairo, you will depart for two days. Especially now when it's hot out there. I always ask in such cases - why? Apparently, you are going to Egypt for the first time. I can assure you that this trip will not be the last. So, you will still have the opportunity to go on an excursion another time. And the sea, and the sun, and fish, and delicious food, and buying souvenirs, and discos, and communicating with people, and other joys.

Ask fans to relax in Egypt to name three main parameters that make them relax in this country. I am sure that neither Cairo nor Luxor will fall into these three parameters. Although it is a must to see the Karnak temple and the pyramid of Cheops.

And the excursion to Luxor did not impress me at all ... Pyramids - yes .. But Luxor .. It was a pity for the time spent ...

But I was not impressed by the pyramids, the Sphinx - more or less, maybe really little time? The tour cost $45, bought at a travel agency in Sharm. I liked the excursion to the Colored Canyon, although we didn’t plan the trip on purpose, we just bought an excursion to the Church of St. Catherine and, probably, because there were only two of us who wanted to go to the temple, and the rest went to the canyon, we were combined, and at no extra charge for the second tour

For 7 days, Luxor and Cairo are too stressful for health. If you want to see everything at once, then you need to take a tourist package or a package to Hurghada for 14 days.
If you go to Hurghada, you should definitely take an excursion to Luxor. (We bought from our guide it cost $ 50.)
If you need to take Cairo to Sharm (We bought it from our guide it cost $ 60.), since Luxor is far from Sharm.
I really liked the tour to Israel ($250).

It is better to choose one thing, either Luxor or Cairo, since for such a number of days these are very difficult excursions ....

and Cairo (museum, pyramids) and Luxor (temples, Nile, but it makes no sense to go to a banana island), diving leaves an indelible impression. Of course, all this is better in 14 days, but it is quite possible without straining for 7. It is better to take excursions in the city excursion bureau, 1.5-2 times cheaper than the guides at the hotel.
