Check out Nuweiba or Taboo. These are small towns from Sharm 3 hours away. From Nuweiba to Cairo about 5 hours - unlike Sharm - 8-9 hours. From Hurghada you can get to Cairo only by plane. From Hurghada you can only get to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Choose.
