If you are going to rest with your family and prefer a quiet and peaceful holiday - go to Sharm (very beautiful corals, fish, etc.) I recommend hotels "Concorde El Salam 5*". Now it will cost about $ 2,000 for two for a week. And if you want an active, fun vacation (without family) - then only Hurghada!!! Excellent hotel "Sunrice Holiday 4*". Classically, just the opposite. Hurghada - family holidays with children - a normal entrance to the sea. Hotels are older, greener and cheaper (except for new areas). And Sharm is a new resort, newer hotels, higher prices. The entrance to the sea is EVERYWHERE (except Naama Bay) through the pontoon and you immediately get to the depth, so it is problematic with small children .. But the coral right next to the pontoon is a lot of impressions. In Hurghada, only a few hotels have coral reefs on their beach.

I would describe it like this - Hurghada is mostly good for families. The sea is almost without corals and fish, sandy beaches. The city has a lot of locals, a typical Arab city.
Sharm - youth recreation. Lots of discos, open-airs. The sea is perfect for snorkeling and diving. But there are places where there is sand and no fish. There are only visitors and Arabs in the city who work there under a contract. There are almost no permanent residents.
Taba, El Gouna, Dahab - small towns with few hotels, life on the territory

Hi. We are going to Sharm on the 23rd .. It's cool there .. There are few young people in Hurghada and a lot of Muslims, Sharm is better. And there are also 3* Hotels on the 1st line.. We eat at Fantasia 3*.. It is located 100 meters from the sea.. Cool and not expensive..
