Boat from Sharm to Hurghada
I will be in Sharm in the summer, but I have Czech acquaintances who live in Hurghada, I want to see them. I know that there is a boat that will take you to Hurghada in 2 hours. I'm interested in how much such a trip costs, how long does the road actually take, and how safe is it (tourists or locals on the boat)? I will be grateful for your help

I see no one answers. This is understandable - few people had to use it. There is a ferry. It takes 2-3 hours depending on the wind. The price in two directions for tourists is about 400-500 pounds (two times cheaper for their own). There in the morning and back in the evening. There were two carriers. The Red Sea ferries were better - comfortable and more like boats. Come check out the timetable. This topic was discussed here six months ago. I remember that there were good answers, with prices and schedules. Look.

Thank you very much, you made me happy. As soon as I use it, I will immediately write about the sensations and prices for this pleasure. Either way, it's a good travel option.

Recently I was interested in the cost. I was told that a round-trip ticket costs about 90 USD. I didn't know about the timetable.

I once drove through the port in Hurghada - it was a terrible sight, a lot of locals who sleep on the pavement. I hope that they were not going to Sharm, and the tourists are sent from another port. It is also interesting how realistic it is to return not on the same day, but, for example, in a couple of days ...?

Come back when you want and there is a possibility to schedule. The hotel will not look for you until 12.00 on the day of check-out. Bring your passport, voucher, tickets and money. And real plans for the place to spend the night.

I was in Hurghada a month ago and wanted to go to Sharm to my friends living there, but after looking at everything I changed my mind. And it was the right decision. You have to be "crazy" to risk being melted down on a dirty ferry along with poor Arabs. The ferry crossing lasts 2 hours or more, if you're lucky. The boat does not always (rarely) float. Really - this is a plane, a ticket costs about $ 130 (this was in March). Good luck!
