Most waterproof camera models in domestic stores are not really designed for diving to a serious depth. That is, you can swim with them and take pictures of fish, which is more insolent.
If you don’t plan to dive with scuba gear, look towards Pentax’s of the W series. For the W80, the manufacturer promises 5 meters, for the W90 - 6, for the WG1 - 10.
And if it’s lower, keep in mind that underwater shooting boxes for popular camera models cost about the same as the cameras themselves. Sometimes - many times more.

With a lower sensitivity of ISO 400, the pictures are just dregs .... ((((

Other requirements, as for me, are the compactness of the camera, then the Ewa Marine case, or dicapac, aquapac, drypak, etc. smaller sizes are cheaper.
