I can’t say anything about food, I always went all, but there are no problems with this, in Naama the whole street is in restaurants, in the Old Market (this is the old city, but it’s not close from Naama and you will spend money on a taxi) cheaper, besides there is a large market, you can buy fruit, although check in advance, it happens that they don’t let food into the hotel. We took excursions from the Tez tour, went for $ 250 for each, were not very satisfied (see review), look in Naama there is a store , there are cheaper and Russian guides! If so write :)
