Charm or Taba?
Actually this is the whole question. What to choose: Charm or Taba? I eat with my husband. Both are 29 years old. We are not particularly interested in discos, so we are not looking for a noisy youth holiday. Please advise what to choose. What are the "pros" and "cons" of these resorts?

Sharm is a full-fledged city, Taba - there is nothing to share outside the hotel.

Take one of the Taba Heights hotels (Sofitel, Hyatt, Interconti, Marriot). Good fives, common territory, many foreigners rest, calm, respectable rest. Nearby is the island of the Pharaohs (there are interesting reefs), the beautiful bay of El Fjord. You can go on excursions to Jordan (Petra) or Israel. If you decide - take a flight to Taba. It takes 3 hours to drive from Sharm (it's not a problem for my family, but it scares many away).
I fell in love with Egypt after Taba. I don’t know how my opinion about the country would have developed if I had gone to Sharm or Hurghada. IMHO

Charm is much better than Taba, just choose a hotel with a good reef, plus specify the location of the buildings so that you don’t drag yourself 15 minutes later to the central restaurant and the sea ...

We were in Taba, the hotel is INTERCONTINENTAL, but we went there specifically to visit JERUSALEM, it’s within easy reach from Taba to the border with Israel, somewhere an hour’s drive, if not less, and it’s also close to JORDAN from there, if you want to visit PETRA, so many go there because of these excursions.
We really liked the INTERCONTI hotel itself, the huge beach and also the coral reef impressed us, so we were very pleased.

Taba is a great getaway. I completely agree with oksana.z. Taba Heights (Sofitel, Hyatt, Interconti, Mariot), we rested there, super. Every time we remember: the mountains that are affectionately behind, a huge beach, coral rice fairy tale, excellent food, proximity to Israel
