the temperature is almost the same, the difference is a couple of degrees, but the most sheltered Sharm from the wind is the mountains, especially hotels in the lagoons, where you can swim all year round.

At this time of the year, choose a hotel in the lagoon.

Winter is better in Sharm - less windy,
especially if the hotel is in a bay, you can swim and enjoy the spectacle - corals and fish.

City tours in Hurghada
City tour of Hurghada - that's another story! We returned from there with the understanding that this whole undertaking sets itself the main task of diluting tourists for money. We passed the so-called sights of Hurghada quickly and the stories about them were unintelligible, and the emphasis was placed on the acquisition of real estate, prices for it, etc. And then they began to take us shopping at a fast pace, trying to explain directly and indirectly that “this is the last opportunity to purchase” something!!!
First, we were brought to the papyrus gallery, and, confusing the Egyptian gods, they tried to sell the papyri.
Then our path lay in a perfume factory shop, where not only dubious perfume was poured from incomprehensible bottles, but also some kind of “singed” oils that can be used supposedly for the treatment of various diseases, taking them inside or making applications. At what all this was called an incomprehensible word of Essence.
But, in fairness, it must be said that a large number of tourists, falling under the massive processing of personnel, make purchases! And already on the bus, they themselves do not understand HOW they fell for these cheap tricks. Moreover, at prices three times more expensive than the same "perfumes" in shops on the streets of Khurga
аватар volna10
Yes, even at prices three times more expensive than the same "perfumes" in the shops on the streets of Hurghada!
Next in our program was the Akhenaten Gallery, which "mows down" as a state store with low prices, in fact, being the same bazaar, only bigger, with higher prices and dubious service. And if you consider that there are practically no state-owned stores in Egypt, then all these “state-owned” stores on City Tours are nothing more than fooling tourists under the guise of a city tour, the main purpose of which is to visit tourists with lured stores and then receive a fairly high commissions from them!
Summary: you should not waste your precious vacation time on trips to dubious shops with stops at all hotels in order to bring in and breed the same poor fellows as we are!!!
A heavenly place for walking is Hurghada Marina Boulevard!
Thank God that the tourists from our hotel told us about this new place for the most pleasant pastime of tourists. This place is in the center of the city, in Sakkale, which is very easy to get to. Hurghada Marina is a wide promenade along the sea, where all the berths are occupied by the most beautiful yachts and sightseeing boats. Amazing place
аватар volna10
An amazing place for leisurely walks with amazing restaurants, cafes and all kinds of shops. Bars that are especially worth a visit are NICE bar, PAPAS bar and the trendy disco on the seashore HED KANDI. For children, there are fun rides on the waterfront.
Next to the "NICE bar", a little in the depths, we found oriental shops (SOUK Area). It was here that we especially liked the store "MOROCCO".
A charming place with a true oriental charm, fixed prices, and quite moderate (which is also very nice for tourists who are sick of the endless bargaining). We have become regulars of this store, having bought charming souvenirs for friends, scarves and pareos for ourselves and various pleasant oriental trifles that you will not find in other stores in Hurghada.
We also bought there at very affordable prices mixed oils from Morocco for face and décolleté skin care for my mother, who is a real fan of natural oils. There is a large selection of all kinds of natural cosmetics and you can find all the care lines with endless options for adding pure essential oils from Morocco. So we will certainly visit this store when we visit again.
аватар volna10
So we will definitely visit this shop when we come to Hurghada again.
In general, Hurghada Marina brightened up our leisure time very much and we were there every evening, either walking, sitting in a bar and listening to live music, or looking at the bellydanc dancers.
After that, especially, you ask yourself the question, why don’t the organizers of City tours show this “pearl” of Hurghada on city tours? And, in fact, they don't even mention it?
We did not find answers to this question. And it's a pity, because a huge number of Russian tourists are not even aware of the presence of a charming and romantic place in a European way for walking, nightlife and decent shopping?
аватар Zlata28
on average (without going too far) 200-300 USD per person. you will have enough for excursions-souvenirs
provided that you have "all inclusive"
аватар AdelinaR
Yes, the question is a little bit pointless and too generalized. First, read all the info on the official website of the tour operator through which you take the trip - there is all the general data for the country and cities, temperature at different times of the year, excursions, their description, approximate prices. When I went for the first time, I did just that, after that the approximate cost of all the excursions that I would like to go on loomed, and all that was left of my stocks was spent on gifts. Clear questions will have clear answers. Be specific - then it will be easier for you and the respondent.

here you are Sharm. We are resting in Nabq. So there are such winds that in October, November, and even more so in December, it’s not comfortable there. WE SHOULD LOOK IN THE GAY, but is it Charm or something else, it seems to me that it doesn’t matter. We were in November in Hurghada, it was better than in Sharm, warmer. The pools are warm. But it's cold in Sharm. AT THE SAME TIME. NOVEMBER.
аватар miki08
Sorry, but to go to distant lands to swim in the pool, for this, even in small towns there are water parks.
аватар tgbyhn
And what about the pools. This is what I wrote about. Just that the pools were warmer in Hurghada than in Sharm. I focused on the SEA. In Hurghada it was warmer and the sea and in general. We always have a rest in the middle of November. Here in Hurghada, we did not swim at all in the pools. There was water aerobics. The sea was very comfortable. There's sand, sunset from the shore, and it doesn't matter if it's windy or not. But in Sharm, in Nabq, this is problematic. Storm.
аватар nadin65
There are such hotels in Sharm that there is no storm.
Hotels in El Maya Bay, there is never a storm, but you need to walk 300 meters along the coast to get to the corals.
The Iberotel Club Fanara & Residence 4 *, Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5 *, Faraana Reef 4 *, and coral beaches with cleared sand entry into the sea are also well protected from the wind.
I don’t consider Nabq at all, I think that money is wasted (it’s very far to go in shallow water, and very often there is a storm and wind)
аватар tgbyhn
Well, about shallow water, this is nonsense. Not far at all. But the reef is beautiful. But as for the wind, the storm is very much in agreement. Next time I will consider your options.
аватар Anetka-gan
CHARM! do not consider other options =)
аватар Zlata28
Sharm, and try to choose hotels located in the bays,
maximally protected from the wind
аватар tgbyhn
Well, why only Sharm? I would like to see a gorgeous reef, almost from the shore and in the bay, like, for example, the Sharm El Naga nature reserve, if anyone knows. I don't care where to go, as long as there is no wind and a great, beautiful reef. I would consider any options. Dahab, or something, I don't know well.
аватар nadin65
So they say to you, a good reef, also a protected area, hotels well protected from the wind: Iberotel Club Fanara & Residence 4 *, Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5 *, Faraana Reef 4 *, coral beaches with cleared sand entry into the sea of meters at 10, there is a pontoon from 20 meters.
аватар tgbyhn
Thank you. So it will not make sense to read reviews for months. I will consider these hotels.
