This has already been written about more than once. Read in earlier questions.

very tiring, you try to sleep all night on the bus, as a result you are beaten and dented, then you are taken to the Cairo Museum, where there are a lot of people and a big queue. And then the pyramids, inside which some faint. If finances allow, fly by plane .
by the way, if you go by bus, take more money, because the guide forgot us in the Cairo museum and we were looking for where to buy tickets back to charm.

it’s exactly 6 hours to go, it’s a little tiring. the pyramids are not for everyone, for me, it’s a waste of time, it’s more beautiful in the picture

everything goes very well. I don't think you are over 80. You are young and strong, so the trip will go well. Most of the way you will be in a dream. Lay out your chair and everything will be great. Don't forget to bring pillows from your hotel. So the move will be more comfortable. Good luck and pleasant impressions!

My personal opinion, if you eat for the first time, you should definitely see the pyramids. How you set yourself up, so the trip will pass. For example, I really liked

Not tiresome! Take water with you and everything will be OK! :))

This trip is very tiring. All night in uncomfortable buses, so my neck hurt afterwards. Well, it's worth it to see the beauty of Cairo. You won't regret it. Take more water. =)))

Opinions about"to go or not to go" among those who have been on this tour in all discussions are divided approximately 50 to 50... :))) Decide for yourself...
Just keep in mind that there are many excursions where the ratio of these percentages is much better... ;)

Nothing tiring, but I didn’t experience much happiness from what I saw. The only museum that is really interesting. I advise you to go to Mount Moses. You will not regret. No one has yet been disappointed with whom they talked about this. In addition, life before the mountain and after it changes significantly. For the better. I wasn't the first to notice.

I did not go to Cairo, but I can give a couple of tips about the bus. Try to get a pillow of a specific horseshoe shape, it will not allow your head to fall on your side and you will be able to sleep while sitting in the bus seat. Wear comfortable shoes or take slippers on your feet. At stops, try to move as much as possible. Be sure to eat hot food and drink tea or water. Then the trip will be much easier.

travel approximately 500 kilometers one way. Normal flat road. If you buy a tour from a normal operator, then there will be a modern comfortable bus. Nothing extraordinary. First you see Africa, then you sleep, an hour before arrival, the suburbs of Cairo begin - it's already interesting. Cairo Historical Museum - definitely impressive. Pyramids and the Sphinx are not for everyone, but regardless of the rating, you will remember this all your life. And it’s not a pity to spend one day of your life on such things.

departure at night (time depends on the location of the hotel), return at the end of the same day. There are two-day excursions - then an overnight stay at a hotel in Cairo.

Hello.
I arrived on the 19th from Sharma. We went to Cairo on the 2nd day after arriving at the place. We lived at the Horison Sharm Resort **** We bought an excursion from our guide Tez tour, 70 bucks. There was a good bus, many who took pillows and blankets from the hotel, but we were fine without them! We were picked up from the hotel at 2 am (we were the last ones picked up by the bus) at 8 am we were already in Cairo. The hotel gave us rations, so at about 6.30 there was a stop for the toilet and for breakfast. See continuation below

The tour included a visit to the national museum, a sightseeing tour of Cairo, the pyramids, a papyrus factory, a perfume factory, a jewelry store and lunch at an excellent restaurant on the banks of the Nile (buffet, but without drinks, they are EXPENSIVE there!!!!) Tez tour guides We were very attentive and polite, no one forgot us anywhere! You can buy a lot of good souvenirs near the pyramids, just bargain well, then you will not find some things anywhere else! A set of 3 pyramids and a sphinx $1. See continued

We arrived at the hotel around 11:00 am. We were fed at the hotel. All without incident. We really liked it, a lot of impressions, We were in Egypt for the first time. So you definitely need to go, the pictures alone are worth it! :) By the way, in our hotel a group of comrades bought a tour in the old town for $50. Remained zhudko not happy! They didn’t visit half of the places, they weren’t given rations at the hotel and weren’t fed upon arrival. The bus was terrible, no comfort. So now the choice is yours! Have a good rest!

I fully agree with Valusik. Everything is accurately described.
Do not hesitate, take an excursion from a good tour operator and you will be satisfied. In any case, you need to see the pyramids. This is a Wonder of the World and will be remembered for a lifetime. Tired of the trip is forgotten the next day, and the impressions of the pyramids for life!

Certainly tiresome

And I'll tell you to go. Well, horror, but not horror-horror :) There were not many people on the bus, so we slept on 2 seats (pillows were taken from the hotel) Sleep in advance in the afternoon. I am an owl, so I rode all night and looked out the window, it was interesting to me, although it was dark. In the morning I took a couple of hours and went into battle - to the museum, then to the pyramids. Everyone was asleep on the way back. We turned on the movie and everyone snored in unison. I actually can’t sleep while sitting, but here I was dozing like a gopher. You will sleep the whole next day, keep in mind

The road, of course, is tiring, but it seems to me that you won’t forgive yourself later that you didn’t visit this one of the surviving Seven Wonders of the World 500 km from the pyramids.

It seems to me that visiting Egypt and not seeing the Pyramids is a shame.
Egypt is, first of all, the Pyramids, which are not subject to time, it is worth seeing.
аватар Rullet
The main thing!!!!!!!!! do not forget to take a pillow from the hotel with you, the guides are always silent about this.
