How glad I am that I had the bright idea to go to Egypt in November 2019 without any charters. There are zero people at the pyramids and in Luxor. The queue at the airport of Sharm was only for passengers of Ukrainian charters, we just said that we were on the regular season, we missed it out of turn.

Yesterday we returned from Sharm. Ukraine is taken to Terminal No. 2, an annex to the airport (more like a utility yard), they passed registration in an hour, brought to the airport in 3.5 hours. Ukrainians are treated very loyally, bags were not turned inside out, they even let them bring juices and water in breakfast from hotels. We took off at 8:55. A madhouse at the main airport where the Russians fly from, they now have a lot of flights from almost all cities of Russia and the airport is choking. And it’s better to wait a little with excursions, Luxor from Sharm only by plane, it will be very expensive. And I would not recommend it to Cairo at all, the Cairo Museum is now being taken to the New Museum in Giza, and it will be opened in six months (they promise ...). Today, excursions for the same money without a museum ... tourists from the hotel went, they were not delighted.

To eat in a restaurant, you need to go at the last hour, when there are already fewer people, but there will be a correspondingly smaller assortment of food. There are constant queues at the bars. Tours to good hotels have risen in price by almost 2 times and adapt to everything - this is still a pleasure for the nervous system ...
