We're going for the sea. But so that there is exactly the feeling of the sea, and not puddles, as on some beaches of Hurghada, where in the reviews they write that you walk 100 m in shallow water, but you are still ankle-deep.
As the main option, we consider Fayrouz Resort 4 * in Sharm, but for some reason the status of availability of rooms has changed from "available" to "places on request" in the Anex search engine, so I'm looking for alternative options.
I’m also considering Long Beach 4 * in Hurghada, but it’s embarrassing that there may be wind + there, with a huge length of the beach along the sea, in fact, only a couple of lagoons (I’m afraid that we won’t get that same feeling of the sea).
In general, I will be very grateful for the proposed alternatives according to the above criteria. Thanks.

And a clarification on the budget: we can pull up to 30,000 UAH / 8 nights, i.e. not strictly $1000, but up to $1100.

if I understood your criteria correctly, then near Dahab, a happy life village or tropitel dahab oasis. the first is near the Bedouin village, the second is with the blue hole. you will not regret. and most importantly - zero animation. for outdoor recreation without intrusive noise.

I didn't see the dates anywhere. Please note that in winter in shallow water, the water cools down a lot,
and at depth it is warmer. In the morning near the coast it can be +17 in December, while at a depth of +25. Lagoons and shallow water in winter warm up only by lunchtime. And there the short winter day ends.

Mercure Hurghada 4 * (but not worse than 5 *) - an excellent beach and a gorgeous sea, good food, a small area and near Senzo Mall, Sheraton.
Old Palace Resort Sahl Hasheesh 5 * - gorgeous sea (the best in Hurghada in my opinion), a promenade along the hotel and fountains, food is not very varied, but you won’t stay hungry, but there’s nowhere to go for a walk, the desert is around.
ALBATROS CITADEL SAHL HASHEESH 5 * - a classy hotel, excellent food, 2 lagoons and a sea with a coral reef not large.
Dana Beach Resort Albatros 5 * - hotel standards, beach, food are all on the level.

Long Beach Hurghada is not about the sea at all. The hotel is chic, the service is excellent, the food is not bad, but 200-300 meters to the sea or swim in the lagoons. Yes, even along the beach to the water 100 meters. The alternative is the most luxurious pools, again there is no wind there, the wind is on the beach.

Albatros Citadel is a great option. If people don't swim, there are beautiful lagoons where there is absolutely no wind. But the budget will not work, as well as Dana Beach and Old Palace.
