We were in March at the Iberotel Palace. Meets your criteria, I think you will be satisfied. We rested with a child of 7 years old, swam in the sea - a gentle sandy sunset, no living creatures (they never wore corals). The food is good, there is a diet (steamed vegetables / meat, cereals, I was pleased with diet yogurt for breakfast in a plastic glass (as it is sold in stores). There is a children's club for children, and twice a week magicians and acrobats came and performed during the day right on beach - such a positive for kids :)

I would choose Makadi just because there is more space to walk around. Although I liked the color of the water better in Peles.
