Guys who are faced with the fact that tour operators postpone departure time
People who are experiencing problems
tour operator Pegasus, who created a system of his own savings at the expense of tourists. The time of departure and check-in is postponed for the maximum period, the time of check-out and departure is the earliest. We checked into the hotel at 23.00 on 24.03. 10), so Pegasus stole exactly two days of rest from us. Last year there was a similar story in Turkey by the tour operator Neva. Why are we people silent. Let's put forward our Claims together. Write

These problems are raised but not on this site, but in the forum there is just a section of Travel Agencies!
аватар alexfabr19
We have about the same. And not only Pegasus is involved in this. For example, they book a charter flight on shares with Tez-Tour. But we cannot do anything here, because at the time of the sale of the tour, the charter schedule is known. So we can not buy a tour on these terms.
аватар elenako
They are monopolists, the price for a charter is lower than for a flight.
If ALL tourists would agree to fly on scheduled planes, then the need for charters would disappear. And so, a cheap at first glance charter leads to an increase in the cost of rest if the flight is postponed.
And a clause on the transfer of the flight is included in the contract, you sign it, it means you agree, and if everything is with the parties completely non-resisting, then what can you do?
аватар lyudmila1957
of course, you need to achieve. so that they don’t change it. but on another site. I also often got with Pegasus, the departure is scheduled for 20.00 and they take me out of the hotel at 5 in the morning. They explain. that this is a charter ... we flew with Mostrevel.
аватар Pachok
You can't prove anything with all your desire. Decent lawyers work there and contracts are drawn up with the account of any claims from tourists. Yes, and buy a number of nights on a ticket.
аватар Uylia
And what about Pegasus? Or another operator. You buy a TOUR PACKAGE from an agency, not from a tour operator. By signing the contract at the agency, you agree that you are using the charter. What is a charter you know. What claims to the tour operator Pegasus? If you don't like charter, get regular flights. Only they cost more. You want to fly for 3 kopecks on a bus, on schedule. Pegasus has never stolen anything from anyone. If anyone is to blame, it's your lack of literacy.
аватар elenako
And Pegasus, despite the fact that when announcing the time of departure and arrival, you must adhere to this time, and laying in the contract a clause to postpone the flight, this should be an exception to the rule, rather than the rule. Or am I mistaken?
And so it turns out that Pegasus, knowing from the outset that the flight will be delayed in one direction or another, goes for it.
That's why, and not only, I and my friends do not use the services of Pegasus, that's enough, we've been overwhelmed.
аватар nina-pp
The tourist has the right to terminate the contract for tourist
pre-trip service due to
significant change in circumstances. To such
circumstances include: worsening travel conditions,
changing its timing.
аватар elenako
If the tour operator lays down a line in the contract that the transfer of the flight is possible and legal (and in cases with Pegasus it is natural), then how will you break this contract?
Often, after all, the departure from the house is almost on time, we are talking about the arrival time, which very often shifts.
And then after all, the deterioration of the conditions of the trip must be proved, and this is a troublesome business.
аватар HotLine
Gentlemen tourists. Let's be objective
1. Charter flights are flights created by the operator and are essentially its service. You will not accuse the taxi driver of monopoly, will you?
2. No one deliberately worsens the conditions of tourists. The market does not forgive such things. And transfers of flights happen even on regular routes.
3. The specifics of a charter flight is that the plane does not stay for a long time at the airport of arrival. Arrived, refueled, flew back (one of the reasons for its cheapness). Therefore, if a tourist arrives and departs on the same flight, then by the time of day he will be picked up from the hotel earlier than they brought him a week ago. This is the law of time and charter flights. Hence the second consequence - the slightest delay and the schedule "flew".
4. The concept of "time of trip" is not defined by law. But it is clear that these are not hours and minutes.
5. Trust the man in this business - flight rescheduling doesn't happen that often.
We do not keep special statistics, but according to the sensations (we call tourists, we warn them), this happens no more often than one out of 20 flights.
аватар HotLine
Again, if something seems unfair to someone, then you can not buy the service, but form it yourself - buy tickets for regular flights, book hotel accommodation on your own, insure yourself. And take responsibility for your own decisions.
Now they will instruct me minuses
аватар nadin65
We also had a similar situation. But we consciously bought a ticket at a very cheap price, knowing that there were 8 nights in the ticket, arrival and departure was at night, and therefore there were only 6 days. We are pleased that for 6 full days we paid much less than others paid in the same hotel for 4 days.
When buying a tutevka, we ourselves can calculate everything, and decide whether to take it or not.
The corridors for flights are busy, or the weather does not allow, as now almost all of Europe is closed for departures due to volcanic dust. And what should the operator do?
аватар elenako
We are not talking about force majeure. We are talking about those cases --- if a tourist arrives and departs on the same flight, then by the time of day he will be picked up from the hotel earlier than they brought him ---
agree
why then not initially orient the tourist to a real departure, if it is known what time the tourists will arrive.
I believe you, HotLine, that this happens no more than once out of 20, but believe me, how you don’t want to get into this one time, so I repeat once again - we don’t fly with Pegasus
аватар Delifinia
Thank you guys for your interest in this topic, but you misunderstood me. This is not about rescheduling the departure time, but about a deliberate late departure time and an early departure at dawn. I have been flying charters for a long time and only since last year I have encountered such a cunning of tour operators. After all, it was possible to schedule charters in reverse. Early arrival at the hotel and late departure home. But no, our dear tour operators are cunning, saying that they have nothing to do with it. Of course, such a schedule is very beneficial for tour operators. The tourist really pays his money for these two days, and the tour operator really puts it in his pocket. And at the same time makes an innocent face. If you don’t want, don’t buy, if you don’t want, don’t fly charters, you are our dear mug. And why not honestly tell the tourist that you are not getting 9 days 10 nights, which will actually come out two less.
On the day of arrival you will be at the hotel at best at 22:00, on the day of departure you will leave at 2:00 in the morning, so it was with me. Where are my two days of rest? I believe that I, as a consumer, was simply deceived. When you go to the store, you buy 1 kg of sausage, but they don’t dump you on the skin, shrinkage, shake. So what’s the difference here, if I bought a tour for 9 nights and 10 days, then where does the charter.
аватар HotLine
You write that you have not been answered.
I wrote already above. I repeat.
"The specifics of a charter flight is that the plane does not stay long at the airport of arrival. It arrived, refueled, flew back (one of the reasons for its cheapness)."
I can expand this answer - you have to pay for demurrage at a foreign airport, the crew needs to be accommodated, food from your home airport cannot be taken, if the plane has stood for a certain time, then additional technical procedures must be carried out before departure, etc.
The plane should fly at all - having returned home, it manages to make one more flight on the same day.
Therefore, if the plane brought tourists in the morning, then they took them in the morning. Brought in the evening - took in the evening.
Convenient time for regular flights. But they also cost more.
аватар elenako
It’s just that neither a late departure nor an early departure cause me negative - I consider those flights that suit me.
And negative and rejection are caused by situations when, instead of the announced departure-arrival, the flight is transferred in one direction or another. Especially if tickets are taken even longer.
We once had a situation when, having entered the second floor of the railway station, we heard an announcement about boarding our train. But it was our risk - we knew very well that we were running out of time to board the train.
аватар HotLine
And who likes it?
I also don't like:
- flight transfers,
- price and quality of gasoline,
- rain when I'm not in the car,
- holes in the roads
- feeling of hunger away from a restaurant or home,
etc. etc.
But not to accept objective processes is to increase the negativity in your own life. And your emotions and material possibilities are, in fact, the only thing you have in your life. So is it worth bothering because it is raining, gas prices are rising, flights are being postponed. It needs to be understood and accepted.
Ostap suffered.
Briefly speaking. Nobody wants to degrade their product and service.
None of the operators or carriers wants to postpone flights. This is not beneficial to anyone and, as a rule, has negative financial consequences - flying on a schedule is the cheapest. But the specifics of air travel in general and charter flights in particular is that schedule disruptions are OBJECTIVELY INEVITABLE. This must be understood and accepted.
аватар Pachok
Delifinia, your dissatisfaction can be understood.
But, as it was correctly noted, if you are initially not satisfied with the time of departure and arrival, you have the right not to buy this tourist product. If this time is immediately indicated, then what can be presented to the operator as a claim? There are many operators, charters are different, choose what suits you. And, pay attention, as a rule, such a tour - in which the number of nights is more than the number of days, costs a little less than a similar tour with an equal number of days / nights. You cited Pegasus as an example, but read the reviews on this and other sites - people fly, not least because of humane prices :)
Sausage .... Doctoral and amateur ones lie on the window. 60 UAH and 50 UAH (for example). If you love without fat, you need to take a doctorate. And you propose to take an amateur one and demand to dig out the fat from it.

If the tour operators themselves change the departure time, then this is certainly unpleasant, but nothing can be done here, unfortunately. You will never guess which operator can change the departure time and for what reasons. And at the expense of the time transfers themselves, it really happens extremely rarely. And you pay at the hotel not for days, but for nights.
аватар Delifinia
In accordance with the law on the protection of consumer rights and the Federal Law "On the Fundamentals of Tourism in the Russian Federation", a tourist product is a set of transportation and accommodation services. In my case, the rest time has been significantly reduced, which means that the cost of the tour should also decrease proportionately. The tour operator must return the difference between the ordered and actually provided services. If all our tourists were organized, and everyone who faced this problem would begin to put forward their claims. Then the Tour Operators would think about whether it is worth deceiving people, and since our man, roughly speaking, shovels everything and does not wince, they use it. And as long as there are such answers. You knew what you were buying, this is a charter, and then all sorts of rubbish. Such tour operators as Pegasus, Anex Tour will sell such cunning tours by the Thousands. And on each of us they have two days paid by us.
People don't even realize the enormous scale of swindle and deceit.
аватар 57888
Tez Tour, for example, for May also changed the departure on the first day from morning to night, on the last day from night to morning .... So it's not only Pegasus and Anex.
аватар Pachok
Delifinia, if you are sure that you are right, enlist the help of a lawyer and go to court. But before that, carefully read your contract - WHAT EXACTLY you bought. If you bought the number of nights and exactly how many nights you spent in the hotel, you will not prove anything. I'm not saying it's right, but it's legal.
аватар HotLine
Let's also start a worldwide campaign against checkouts in hotels at 12-00. What the hell? Let them take money for the time they actually lived, like mobile operators. Or during your stay at the hotel. And then they did what was convenient for them. In the resort areas, they are generally insolent - they reserve two hours for cleaning the room and guarantee check-in only from 14-00.
And there is a reason - the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, according to which you can and should pay only for really rendered services.
аватар Delifinia
Pachok, in the contract it is clearly stated 9 nights 10 days, so from what to proceed, I am inclined that after all days, since it is convenient for me to rest for 10 days and, accordingly, spend the night for 9 nights, and not halves from 24h and fly away at 2h at night. If we all raise this problem, each in his own place, then the Tour Operators will understand that we are still literate people, and not vegetables that can be sold, swallowed and not choke. People, respect yourself and your money DO NOT BE SILENT.
аватар Pachok
If it says 9 nights and 10 days, then you are absolutely within your rights. I once also experienced an inconvenient transfer, but in my contract it was exactly "13 nights", no mention of days. Several times the departure was postponed to a later time, which was also inconvenient for me personally, since in some cases I had to be at home at a very specific time. But there were no grounds for a complaint.
As for the solution to this problem, then, excuse me, I will not go to court and butt heads with operators. I "vote with a ruble" - I go on my own or buy such tours that suit me.
аватар Delifinia
Pachok. The fact is that in our city, and I live in Kaliningrad, there is no way to choose, we only have charters and they fly from tour operators. I would be very happy to book a hotel myself and fly on a regular plane, As all civilized people in Europe do. So you have to take what they offer and fly on a charter. I was treated in Karlovy Vary for several years in a row, booked the Hotel myself, and flew on a regular flight to Prague, we had a flight to Prague. And now our Aeroflot KD Avia has collapsed and all flights to Europe have been closed. And flying through Moscow is inconvenient and difficult.
аватар Pachok
I wanted to write to you that on Russian forums they often write that you can only buy a flight from the operator, but then I thought that it would be exactly the same inconvenient departure-arrival schedule :(
I can only wish you to find active like-minded people. Good luck.

It became interesting to me, I myself will soon fly out with Coral for 7 nights. Moreover, on May 2, I will be in Egypt at 23-00 and I have a plane back at 00-40, as I understand it, we should be picked up from the hotel at 21-00, does this mean that I don’t live at the hotel last night?
аватар Pachok
This means that you do not stay the last night at the hotel if you leave the room before the official checkout, i.e. until 12 noon the previous day. If you leave your room at 9 pm, then, depending on the policy of the hotel, either a full next day or a late checkout (paid) are considered.
аватар kiki_63
faced the same problem, how to proceed? Will my application for a refund for an early departure (more than 10 hours) help, and settled in late in the evening?
