Good afternoon! We can’t decide between the two hotels, maybe someone was in both hotels, write which one you liked better and why? Thanks.

Search, read, draw conclusions :))

In order to help you with advice and suggest something, I would like to understand what you expect from the hotel, what are your priorities, and also with what train you plan to go and when.

Braika is a great hotel.
The bay is pretty good too.
аватар Tana999
neither one nor the other suited me, since there is no convenient sandy entry into the sea.
аватар Tana999
Sorry, there is a sandy entry in Braika, but there are a lot of people. That is, everyone has their own requirements. And it's just impossible to say
аватар elenako
--but a lot of people--
How do you rate house reef?
аватар jabetta
elenako, I know, I know your sincere love for Braika!))) I can understand completely! When was the last time you were there? For a long time now we have no illusions about house reefs - where there is a hotel, the reef is killed there. Alas :(((Why do we love wild bays and always perceive it painfully when we see construction in some wild place, it’s immediately clear that there will be an end to the reef sooner or later :( And this is especially noticeable where there are a lot of people, and for Braika, two large hotels are frankly a lot, which is why I asked when they were going to leave.
The couple we've gone into the wilds in their thoughts and dreams, but the TS does not seem to be, maybe it's no longer relevant? ;)))
аватар elenako
jabetta, I agree with you completely about the killing of house reefs. But they are killed everywhere.
The way you swim, not every girl can. For some, a house reef is what you need.
I wasn’t in the break this year, but ours flew. There were few people in the hotel, according to them, the rest was a success even for those who were only on the shore.
If we are in the wilds, then I will say that, unfortunately, Egi is temporarily closed for me. But Mauritius, and now the Dominican Republic is on the agenda.

Thanks everyone for the advice. The question remained open. There are many pluses here and there, but there are also minuses, so every evening we make a new decision. We are planning a trip in mid-December. We do not like noisy companies, we love the sea, preferably the absence of a contingent like "Tagil", and (sorry for the impudence) we love comfortable and comfortable beds.
аватар jabetta
Comfortable and comfortable beds are not impudence at all, but a vital necessity, especially after long swims. According to your criteria, both hotels are suitable, I still can’t tell you more specifically, because I don’t know how far and how long you swim. If you are not swimming very far, then it is better to take Braika in terms of the sea. If you can swim along the reef for a long time, are not particularly afraid of the currents and are not too lazy to walk into an interesting bay (about 1 km) to meet unusual marine life, then choose Three Corners. In general, both hotels are good. You can also take into account that it is closer to go to the corners from the airport.
аватар Tanunik
Thank you, we decided to try this year in Braika, and next time in Three Corners.
аватар jabetta
So that's great! :-))) Have a good rest, good weather and unexpected unforgettable meetings at sea! ;)
аватар jabetta
If you need a car to travel around the nearby bays, knock on the LF, I will share my contacts;)
аватар elenako
Upon arrival, do not take it for work, write to us how your vacation went.
Have a nice holiday!
аватар elenako
There, at the very entrance to the sea, on the left, where there is a little more water than knee-deep, an octopus lives. In my opinion, he is already watching us.
аватар jabetta
elenako, do you remember how long octopuses live?)))
I know for sure that a young Napoleon from the Oriental bay goes there, just recently he was seen there;)
аватар elenako
They say that octopuses live for a couple of years, but I would like this to be a mistake. If I have the opportunity, I like to watch them for a long time, and the one that lives there in shallow water, in my opinion, is eternal.
Once I saw how an octopus took a pebble with its tentacle and closed its dwelling so that they would not peep ...
аватар jabetta
I love octopuses too! This year I "played hide-and-seek" with a huge representative for two days in a row, shot a bunch of interesting videos! I watched the confrontation of this Axis with a cone! Just WOW!
аватар elenako
Did you manage to remove this confrontation?
Was there a winner?
On the next branch there was a photo - an octopus on a dish. The people almost clapped their hands, but I somehow felt uncomfortable - the octopus was no longer too tough for me, I won’t eat it anymore.
аватар jabetta
I filmed the confrontation, but only the finale itself could not be captured, just at that moment I turned off the camera - I did not expect that here it was the denouement. Osya emerged victorious, and in the blink of an eye the cone dug deep into the sand :-) Once again I thought that it was right not to walk barefoot even in the most "innocent" places.
аватар elenako
I saw a fight with a moray eel on the video.
There were no visible winners. Both suffered.

Last year we rested in Braika (see review) - after that I fell in love forever with the underwater world of Egypt. Before that, we were in Makadi Bay and thought that it was the best there. Nothing like that, Braika is a very good place. Sandy entrance to the sea, on both sides - a wonderful reef. On the left side we always saw a lot of lionfish, moray eels, stingrays and other fish, on the right - octopuses, crocodile fish, etc. Some talked about turtles - we didn't get to see them on the house reef. Hotel, food, pool - all good. If you have already decided on Braika - please write a review upon arrival - it is very interesting what has changed over the year. I also want to write. When we were driving back to the airport, everyone was disembarking from the bus - he went to a gas station, we drank tea in some village. So, upon arrival home, our friends in the backpack, which they left on the bus, did not find the keys to the apartment and the hryvnia, which were 100% there. We also had a small bag from hand luggage, which I took with me, because. there were passports. Nothing was missing from the luggage - because he was still in the hotel packed with a film (immediately taken with him from Ukraine). Therefore, be careful.

Also, I have a video from the house reef (sometimes I even dream about it). So I can email you if needed.
