I will warn you right away that I expect sincere anger from people who have stayed at this hotel before. I willingly believe that at first it was not bad here, but now the owners have set a course for a serious deterioration in service and have decided to raise “grandmothers” through seminars, conferences, etc. (after all, it was not for nothing that they built a conference hall for 1.400 people), despite the fact that there are also people who came to a “respectable hotel with a relaxing holiday, ” as he positions himself, and tour operators too. The idea of the hotel is cool, and it is built soundly. But even in the two weeks that we were there (the language does not turn to say "rested"), the hotel fell just before our eyes. The only thing we were lucky with was the weather. We sincerely love the Red Sea and it, responding to us in return, decided to compensate for our suffering. I will not give a description of the sea here, I will separate it into a separate story on Marsa Alam. Firstly, I can’t afford to interfere with the SEA with this hotel, and secondly, I don’t want to fool those who are not particularly interested in this. Moreover, we swam not only on the house reef, but also traveled around the nearby bays. And it was also very nice to meet people in the hotel (from the tourist truth and not only) who share our interests.
And now in order.
We checked into the hotel on 9:10 at 14:00. We got the keys instantly, we were brought to the room with luggage on an electric machine. We entered the room and were stunned! We are literally on the beach, although we paid for the usual view. Our joy knew no bounds. The first thought: “Why are we so happy!? ”. It turned out to be premature and very soon we realized it. In the meantime, everything is great: in the restaurant (it doesn’t dare to call the dining room) - freedom, a lot of food, fruits, pastries, ice cream, teapots for tea. On the beach there is space, umbrellas, sunbeds, fences, deck chairs, tables, an excellent pier and, most importantly, your favorite sea! In general, everything you need for happiness. And so the vacation began. We were the last ones in the hotel to check in without bracelets, everyone who checked in after was already gifted with red "decorations". But even this “happy” nuance brought us its unpleasant moments.

The next morning, we found a decent batch of newly arrived ladies, and it is not clear where they escaped from (judging by their behavior). At first we were at a loss, then when these parties arrived and arrived within 2 days (in total 2000!!! ), we were already in shock. One day, going out to the beach after a swim, we found a portly lady sitting on a table near our sunbeds. When she saw our bewildered faces, she said: “What? I need a shade! " Sunbeds and partitions moved, as if there was construction going on. On the pier (including on the stairs) they crowded, as if on fireworks. We were all worried that he would collapse. Trampling and walking on corals has taken on unprecedented proportions. They tried to make a remark to one, she said: "Don't worry, I'm in slippers. " She, naive, thought that we were worried about her. Towels need to be guarded. In general, the sunbeds had to borrow at 5 am! Crowds were everywhere and everywhere, and around the clock. In the dining room (now it was already the case), the aunts stood in line for food for the whole company, we were left hungry more than once, because the battle for food is not in our rules. They did not hesitate to pack everything they could in their bags, especially what they could take home (tea, coffee, sugar, etc. ). Such examples can be continued for a long time, the rest turned into hell! The last straw was a disco on the beach, and we fully realized all the delights of the sea view in this hotel. The result is a sleepless night. In the end, the people rebelled, letters with complaints to the administration began to pour in, foreigners began to demand relocation to other hotels (they know how to defend their rights and stomp their feet).
It turned out that all this “charm” was a Faberlic seminar. I am not familiar with this cosmetics, but now I will tell the “tenth transfer” never to buy it - the products that such a contingent sells cannot be good a priori. In fairness, I note that among these madams, there were decent people who were uncomfortable because they were involved in this disgrace, but they disappeared into the general mass.
Somehow we survived this horror, we fled to the sea. 17.10 faberlik dispersed. Here it is happiness! 7 days of rest down the drain, but the thought warmed my soul that there was still a whole week ahead and we would catch up. Moreover, we were promised that now it will be “super”. But it was not there! Before we had time to recover, a new company drove in on October 20, and, moreover, mostly seasoned Russian men (in T-shirts "Vorontsov crackers", etc. ), who "came off" to the fullest in 4 days. They did not sleep at all (except for the "dead" bodies on the beach) and we were with them. A strong mat sounded day and night. Again it became crowded on the beach, the situation worsened when one fine morning a car arrived and took away all the sun loungers. Serious festivities began under the windows at night, moreover, this does not sadden the security and staff at all. Our "joy" knew no bounds when we saw that now a huge disco stage was being mounted right under our balcony (and at night). The sound of metal, etc. - another night away. We thought we'd have a rest after the swim on the beach. Already! There, a football championship of this glorious company was arranged on two fields organized for this purpose. Naturally, with all the consequences - screams, pipes, whistles and balls flying over heads. In the conference schedule, we found that the disco on the beach (that is, under our balcony) will be from 23.00 to 3.00. We set up our bodies, courageously endure everything that was coming, there was a hope to sleep after, at least a couple of hours. And again a bummer! Immediately upon completion, the dismantling of the site began. The clatter of metal, the horns of the machines, and the shouting of the staff "decorated" the rest of our happy night. Calls to the reception did not make any sense, however, like all previous times. Three sleepless nights in a row exhausted us so much that on the last day we no longer had the strength to swim. The worst thing is that even the sea has already begun to be stolen from us.
The staff, looking at all this, became completely insolent, especially in the dining room. On the first day of the arrival of the second conference, on a good half of the tables there were signs with the name of the company, supposedly a reserve. The rest of the people went around in circles in search of a place. Our friends, a family with a child, turned to the waiter with a request to find a table, to which they heard the “magic” word: “five bucks! ”. True, the waiter took pity and arranged "only" for two! Our next scandal at the reception was successful - the signs were removed and there were no more of them. The hotel has turned into a garbage dump - mountains of empty bottles on the beach, empty and unfinished glasses and glasses on the parapets, tables and deck chairs by the pool, heaps of garbage (photo attached).

The second company that arrived had blue bracelets (they didn’t have something included), and without bracelets at all, by that time, only we were left for the whole hotel and problems started in the bars, each time we had to prove something and ask to call the reception calling your number. One bartender rested and said that he was not going to call anywhere and that was my problem. When the queue gathered and my face took on a corresponding look (apparently everything experienced had already been reflected), he defiantly took out and gave me warm beer, although it was cold.

Probably, someone will think how it was possible to do all this in two weeks? Believe me, if you describe all the memorable moments, the book will turn out. We had a busy vacation.
An eloquent fact - on the eve of our departure from the hotel, the general manager quit, saying that he could no longer tolerate this disgrace (we also had to talk to him).
In general, the long-awaited vacation was brazenly stolen from us! After such a vacation, you need a serious restoration of the nervous system.
For those who, after reading this cry of the soul, still wants to take a chance and go to this hotel, I will describe it point by point. I'll try to be objective.
1. NUMBERS - absolutely normal, but demanding, you can find something to complain about (we were not up to that). As for me, in no case should you take a room on the first floor - they are just level with the ground there. If you expect bathrobes and slippers, don't flatter yourself, they don't already have them. We had one bathrobe lying around in our room, so we went to find out where the second was, so that later there would be no problems, we were told that we would give you another one, just don't tell anyone. A board and an iron are also far from being in every room, they are being quietly removed. Beds are clean and changed as needed. More than enough towels. There is a kettle and everything that comes with it. On each floor there is an ice machine, and in the room there is a thermos for it. They clean up so-so, despite the tip, but the swans are twisted from the heart. No bath - shower. The air conditioner hums and blows directly on the bed, we slept with an open balcony (fortunately the weather allowed).

2. FOOD - as for Egypt, not bad (when there is no overload), a little monotonous. There is beef, but it always gets stuck in the teeth, and we only found toothpicks in the lobby. Fish, chicken, a couple of times lamb, once a turkey. There were crabs several times, but they “smelled” so that it was impossible to enter the restaurant. The squid didn't run far either. Complete order with pastries and sweets. The ice cream was delicious, it was twice in two weeks, but the queue is like in a mausoleum, and you can’t beg for three balls, besides, they are empty inside (you must know how to do this! ). By the end of our stay, sealed yoghurts disappeared, out of five types of packaged juice, only two remained (apparently they will be removed altogether), etc. There is pizza, but begging to make it the way you want is a problem. There are fruits, but not all are edible. Be careful with food - a lot of overly spicy dishes. Good soups. For breakfast, there may be frankly cold water in titanium. Once they told the cook about this, so he replied: "It will do. " Fortunately, the chef heard, so quickly he personally brought a kettle of boiling water and ordered to heat the titanium. We must give him his due, he tries, as best he can, to keep everything under control, if something is not right, he immediately takes action, as soon as you turn. True, he does not speak Russian.
3. TERRITORY - well planned, but there are many stupid dead ends. There is a huge swimming pool with sea water, also with fresh water. We really liked the lazy river, especially the waterfall, I called it “death to cellulite”. There are two slides. We played mini-golf with pleasure once (were saved from the faberlic, fortunately, they did not think of going there). There are courts, volleyball court, water polo, table tennis. Greens are diligently grown, but it has not yet reached the desired state. There is where to take a walk in the evening - the territory of the Intercontinental and Port Ghalib. Around the restaurant there is some kind of vile puddle that has never been cleaned.
4. SERVICE - there are good staff, there are disgusting copywriters. But I would especially like to mention Lucia, the Russian-speaking girl at the reception - an absolutely competent, seasoned and sympathetic little man.
5. BEACH - divided into two parts. The left one (if you look at the sea) is relaxing, although not big, but there are always places, though far from the pier. There are more places near the pier, but after 7.00 you can no longer find an umbrella with sunbeds. Towels are issued only from 8.30, so we had to take them to the room in the evening. After the departure of the notorious faberlik, the hotel missed a good half of the beach towels, so they quickly introduced cards. Once the towel maker did not want to change them for us, arguing that they were dry. The beach is poorly cleaned. We found a dirty cup and saucer under our sunbed, put them in a conspicuous place, so she stood there for 4 days. Cigarette butts in the sand and all that.
6. POPULATION - most of all Russians, but there are still enough foreigners.
If the hotel management does not take urgent measures and does not stop the obvious deterioration of the service, then this hotel can be put a fat cross.

I especially want to "highlight" separately the guide working in this hotel from Pegasus Amin. So that everyone understands who they have to deal with.

So.
On the way to the hotel, the accompanying guide told us that the meeting with our hotel guide would take place the next day at 17.00, which I immediately wrote down right on the documents so that (God forbid) I would not forget. The next day, we, as punctual people, were at the reception five minutes earlier. As a result, Amin appeared at 17.30. When we told him in a humorous way that we were looking forward to him for half an hour, his reaction surprised us - for some reason it unbalanced him. Oh well, maybe he got up on the wrong foot?
Amin gathered a large company of newly arrived vacationers in the hall near the repshin, he was completely unheard of because of the crazy uproar that the same faberlik had arranged. One man moved a chair closer to him in order to better hear all the "necessary" information that the desired guide would convey to us. This innocent moment brought Amin even more out of himself and he said: "Go away, no one has ever sat so close to me. " It seemed that he was worried about his priceless person. Well, okay, the man moved to the very last row. Finally, what everyone had been "expecting" for so long began - Amin solemnly read out a paper in which there were information that we already knew (because the same papers were in everyone's envelopes). But the people wanted to know something else and began to ask him innocent questions like: where are the bathrobes, slippers, etc. ? These questions, apparently, did not please the guide at all and, like a small child, he grabbed his daddies and, retreating towards the exit, shouted: "I'm leaving you! You talk badly to me! ".

Everyone's jaws dropped, and the people fell into a stupor. I threw him after him: "How are you leaving? And the excursions? " Answer: "Are you interested in excursions? ". Hearing a positive answer, he took pity, returned and handed out a list of them. We were interested in an excursion to Luxor, we were determined to visit this city and, of course, I looked at the Pegasus price list at home, where the price was clearly indicated at $ 95 per person (on arrival home, I looked there again, but the price was already $ 100) , on paper "from Amin" the price was 115! After my reasonable question: "what's the matter? ", he became completely ill and the guide, having insulted everyone present, disappeared from sight. Naturally, we did not want to go to Luxor with him. Other operators refused to organize a tour for us, citing ethics. So the trip to Luxor was covered with a copper basin. We are not the last time in Marsa Alam, so we will still fill the gap, but such a subject as Amin left "an indelible impression. "
In the future, for all questions, we turned to Lucia - an excellent employee, for which many thanks to her! What I advise everyone (to contact this girl)!
