After visiting CROWNE PLAZA SAHARA OASIS PORT GHALIB in April, we have amazing memories of the Port Ghalib region. And therefore, when the time came for the autumn arrival in Egypt, the priority hotel, of course, was the Oasis. But the fate happened so that we moved a little time and Oasis stood at STOP. And since we were stubborn and our soul was drawn to Ghalib, we bought tickets to Sands (from 5 to 17.10), because it's almost the same : )
TEZ transfer, as I expected, was practically individual. Minibus Tayota HiAys delivered us to the hotel in fact, within 3 hours (against 4-4.5 bus Pegasus, in the spring). The procedure for settling into the rooms has not changed, continuing to please with its efficiency and thoughtfulness. Upon arrival at the room, it turned out that this was the first floor, and we do not like the first floors. Therefore, I returned to the reception and asked for a room on the second or third floor.

Having rummaged through the computer, the employee said: - Number 2360 will be ready in an hour. In the meantime, rest, we'll call you, sir! In the light of subsequent events, I’ll say - the number turned out to be trump : ) North side, third floor, view of the Sheikh’s palace - a piece of the "desert" - a piece of the sea - a palm tree under the loggia ...I called it - "view of the sea and" garbage can "- that's all how I love it ; ) The layout of the room is the same as in the Oasis, but in terms of design / furniture we liked the Oasis rooms more. There was no ironing board, bathrobes, terry slippers ...We didn’t need the first and second, but after our request, Slippers were delivered in the evening in the best possible way. Inspection of the canteen showed that everything had become somewhat simpler, but quite worthy and varied.
One of the positive changes is the presence of a cocktail card in the bars, now you don’t need to explain what to interfere with : ) , in Cardamom you can take a beer in a bottle and go to your lounger, a second staircase was completed on the pier for descending into the sea, THREE bicycles appeared for rent (but it’s true at a price of 5 euros / hour, which in my opinion will be “fatty”) ...On the minuses: the karting track was never opened, in the pool bar, beer / juices are poured into disposable cups (for me, this is generally a cant )...well, maybe the mini-golf fields are a little bit more chilled...but I already find fault with that...But in general, I would say that everything has become a little bit simpler compared to spring.

Well, let's leave the lyrics a little aside! This time the Port Ghalib region hotels were put to the test. Namely - hitting Faberlik sectarians!
I don’t see the point in describing the details of the 5 days of the stay of TWO THOUSAND aunts (in the most foul sense of the word) (yes, I think they will write it without me, the first reports have already gone: ). In fact, I can say that the hotel did not cope with such a figure / contingent and I think it thoroughly ruined its reputation : (Although the staff tried, but "I didn’t schmagla, I didn’t schmagla ... " I talked with vacationers, both those who came here for the first time and those , who is not the first time here (we went consciously and exactly here) - everyone is in AHU ...in oh, what a disorder; )

For these 5 days, you should not draw conclusions about the service / feeding, etc. This is the peak load on all hotels in the region. And in normal mode, everything is also a decent level. From all this, exactly one conclusion must be drawn:
BEFORE BOOKING AT PORT GHALIB HOTELS, SEND A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR CONFERENCE AVAILABILITY IN
THE PERIOD YOU ARE INTERESTED IN! ! ! MAKE YOUR TRAVEL AGENTS DO THE SAME!

A wonderful (Russian-speaking) girl Lucia (from gestrelation) assured me that the hotel would absolutely honestly answer the written request about the conference. During the conference - not a foot in the hotel! I don’t care who the Russians-Italians-Germans-French-Martians will be there ...
