And this is not irony at all! Since if the pier there was “correct”, then we would not have traveled so much around the bays and would not have seen so many interesting things - we would have swum more on our “home” reef, and it is, to put it mildly, not important there. Our trips are a completely different story.
And now, actually, about the hotel.
1. TERRITORY.

It is quite large, however, like the bulk of the fives of Mars. It consists of the main building (reception, restaurant, lobby bar, limousine service, several shops, including a pharmacy) and two-story buildings, between which winding paths are laid. There is a large swimming pool in the center of the hotel. There is a playground. There is a fish restaurant right on the beach, and, right through it, you need to go to the pier or to the beach of the neighboring Resta Reef 4 *, the lagoon of which is often used by guests of our hotel - for "fishlessness" and it is for happiness. Looks like someone thought for a long time until he invented such a miracle of design - to walk through the restaurant. And what a pity it is not to “hit” the good parquet that is laid there, because people walk around both wet and with their feet in the sand?
Quite a green area, especially considering that the hotel is only two years old, especially since flowers, trees and bushes are constantly planted. Everywhere is clean. You can safely use the territory of the neighboring hotel, as they are adjacent and both are of the same owner. According to the reviews of vacationers in the top four, they concluded that people are either very dissatisfied with the hotel, or are amused by its low cost. It is old and will be closed for renovations.
Uniqueness was noticed in our hotel – there is no clock anywhere! Nowhere, even at the reception, well, just like in a casino!
Not far from the hotel (to the right across the road) there is a "promenade" with shops. But do not rush to run there for shopping, first, ask the price in the hotel shops, since everything that we needed to buy turned out to be cheaper in Resta. In the grocery market, the choice, to put it mildly, is meager and in the evening we didn’t even find elementary fruits there.
2. NUMBERS.
Very nice and spacious, nicely decorated. The usual standards are two large beds, or one huge bed with comfortable mattresses and bedside tables. A chest of drawers, a large cabinet with an LSD TV (of the Russian-language channels, we found only the RTR-planet), a kettle and everything that came with it, an oval table with soft chairs, a coffee table with chairs. Two phones - on the table and near the bed. There is a fridge (mini-bar), but I would call it a "cooler", as it's just a thermos with a fan.
Large balcony or terrace. On the balcony - a table with chairs; on the terrace - a table, an armchair and a soft deck chair, more like a couch.

In the bathroom - it is a bathroom, however, with an awkward glass, very uncomfortable partition, a folding rope above the bathroom and a built-in shower head. Also, of course, a toilet, a sink, and also a bidet, a magnifying mirror with light and a telephone. There are two types of soap, shampoo, shower gel and cap. Towels - seven for two (changed without problems when thrown on the floor).
Pretty spacious hallway with two closets, cabinet with bench and mirror. There is an electronic safe in the closet, it worked flawlessly (I hope, only for us, although everything remained intact).
The air conditioner works like a beast (if there was a hole in it, it would be possible to freeze ice there, and not to wear it from the bar). And yes, he is noisy. We turned it on only in our absence, for which the second "key" was taken at the reception.
Water is delivered to the room during cleaning - two 1.5-liter bottles per day.
3. POOL.
Very large, comfortable, "differently deep" and interesting configuration. In the center of it is its most sought-after part - a round bar with chairs at the counter right in the water. There are a lot of sunbeds, no problems with them. Near the bar there is a canopy, under which there is a sufficient number of tables with chairs, as well as a tennis table (use is free, racquets from the animators). There is a shower but no toilet. You need to go to the room or to the reception, which is not close. Guess where everyone "goes" in need?
4. FOOD AND DRINKS.
Quite acceptable and edible, as for Egypt. Of course, something is not at all tasty, especially the always-burned grill and non-chewing camel meat called "beef" (although there was real tasty beef), but it's hard to stay hungry. Seafood is served periodically, and fish, so constantly. Interestingly, there were french fries and even mashed potatoes on a regular basis, which is rare in this country. Not bad pastries, morning croissants are especially tasty. Fruits were constantly - whole and sliced. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's not bad. Alcohol in the restaurant is served only by waiters. There was no children's menu, although there is a table in the form of a train, but so, for beauty.
There are snacks near the pool and, it seems (I didn’t see it myself, but I said), on the beach in the form of hot drinks and buns.
From 15.00 to 17.00 ice cream of 3-4 types near the pool.

Drinks (alcohol and "juices" from coolers), relatively tolerable - sometimes worse. Packaged juices are poured in the lobby bar, and various cool cocktails are made with better quality. Tea and coffee - as usual, disgusting.
There are two A la carte restaurants - one, I didn’t see it working at all, the second is a fish one, which you can visit for free once during your vacation (record in the main restaurant at the counter from 13.00 day-to-day). We went with the whole large friendly company - we liked it, no one went to finish eating in the main one. Also, my husband and I, according to tradition, went there for a fee - to eat grilled seafood (we really love this business). The quality of cooking is excellent, but the assortment is not so hot. Either there are no shrimp, then the lobsters are small, but we didn’t see octopuses and squids at all. The prices for this are the usual for Marsa, but bottled wine "bites".
5. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE.
We were very pleased with this hotel - the management works perfectly, control is constant! The staff is well trained, helpful and friendly. Only two (of those that we saw) speak Russian - a limousine service worker who got a job there a few days before our departure, and a seller of sand paintings in bottles (near the beach). In fairness, it must be said that many also try to learn Russian.
True, we witnessed how the British wrote a statement to the tourist police about harassment of an adult daughter by one of the servants, but this is a special case, we don’t know what really happened, so there’s nothing to judge. And the fact that many foreigners are simply paranoid about "harassment" is a fact known to everyone.

Cleaning is of high quality, however, it reached our room only by three or even five o'clock, only once it was cleaned at twelve, it can be seen that a very large number of rooms "hang" on the cleaners. A funny thing happened to our friends. The cleaner, despite the posted card, fell to them after dinner, when they were resting, they said that they did not need to clean now, as they were sleeping. They asked for water, the cleaner brought it and grabbed the dollar prepared for him in advance, with the words "I'll clean it tomorrow" and ran away, leaving friends with open mouths and bulging eyes. A couple of days later, the story repeated itself, only there was no dollar prepared, so the cleaner, having brought water, began to look for a tip by number - impudence of the highest brand! Of course, one could complain to the cleaning manager, who regularly comes and inquires about the quality, but they decided to take the story with humor and not spoil their nerves and mood.
There is a SPA center, which is regularly lured by its employees. We did not go there, because we go to Egypt completely for something else, but I consider it my duty to warn. A not very pleasant story happened to our friend with this case, namely, she wanted to arrange a complete holiday for herself in the form of an anti-cellulite massage. She paid for four sessions of this in advance (60 dollars for each, that is, 240), after the first massage, she realized that she had thrown money away and tried to return at least the rest, to which she was told that perhaps we could return you half (kapets some! ). She had to agree to a replacement - some kind of Cleopatra complex. The result is the same - lost money and time. So be aware!
Also, the hotel has a "Limousine service", that is, a taxi and excursions on a yacht. We worked very closely with them, as we constantly traveled around the bays (we took a taxi). You can easily negotiate prices with them. At the first contract with them, they were treated to a dutik rum, which had a magical effect and the negotiations went in the direction we needed. True, this was also a negative point, since at each next visit we were asked about the next treat (moreover, they were not interested in local drinks), which they received a couple of times, the rest of the times we had to gently "move out". The results of the negotiations - first, a significant discount was knocked out, since we planned to use their services all the time, and then a consensus was reached to convert the price from EURO to the same amount of dollars, which also significantly reduced the cost of services. In the end, everyone was happy, so you can and should bargain with them, the quality of service was excellent, the main thing is to clearly agree with the driver (they gave him 1 dollar) about the time when you need to come to pick you up.
6. ENTERTAINMENT.

All animation is concentrated mainly near the pool - belly dance, step aerobics, competitions, etc. One late evening on the beach, by the animators, a fire show was held, but we didn’t get there, because we had no strength left, because we swam a lot. They said it wasn't bad.
Every evening, a mini-disco was held in an open area near the main building, then live music until eleven, those who wished to dance. On Fridays there was a traditional oriental show. We were not looking for a disco, but we heard from others that it is in a nearby hotel. We didn't see anything else.
7. BEACH.
This is the weakest point of the hotel:
First, the pier. It is not bad in quality, but ten meters does not reach the edge of the reef roof. And it is “rolling” there and, as a result, even with the slightest excitement, such turbulences are formed that it is life-threatening to get out of the water onto the pier. Before leaving, we had read about the permanent black flag, but somehow it was not clear what kind of “magical” place there was? We have rested on Mars more than once and we know that winds and waves take place there, but why didn’t we swim in the waves? The mystery was solved at the first glance at this structure, in fact, it cannot be called a pier - an observation deck! The slightest wave - they lifted the ladder and adya! Just a mockery, not a pier!

Second, the beach itself. It is two-story: from the first floor you swing up the stairs to get to the bar, toilet, pier or lagoon of the neighboring hotel (which we called the "pelvis"). Those "baths" that are located near this first floor of the beach simply do not stand up to criticism - not everyone is given the opportunity to twist so much to fit in them. On the second floor, somehow you don’t feel like you are on the beach. One consolation is that there is a bar nearby, and then on one side. The sunbeds are half collapsed and not comfortable, for that there are a lot of them and almost all of them are empty - it’s not surprising, because there is nothing to do at sea for a long time. The shower is only on the first floor among the sand, so you can't wash your feet off. The toilet, generally a secret object, in order to find it, you will have to show remarkable ingenuity. It is located behind a fish restaurant, and when you approach it, again you don’t understand, but where is it? The entrance to it looks like a service room and there are no signs until you look inside - you won’t guess at all. It, of course, is sometimes interesting to solve puzzles, but not at those moments when you are looking for a similar institution. There is a volleyball court downstairs, but for some reason everyone went to play, again, in a nearby hotel.
Third, reef. We went to the hotel with a group, one couple arrived before the rest and we were looking forward to hearing from them about the sea (since this is the most important issue for us). I receive from volkisa the longed-for SMS with the text: "Reef - UG! Turtle and barracuda. Everything. " Which was translated by me as: "Reef - WOW (thought it was a typo, because I don't know Internet slang)! Turtle and barracuda and everything else. " I immediately pleased with this news, the rest of the company. How was I to know that "UG" is nothing but "Sad g. . no" ? ! The most annoying thing is that, in addition to everything unpleasant, this assessment of the local reef turned out to be the most accurate (photo attached). A couple of times, after all, we managed to jump into the sea for a limited time (the "whistle" limited it, saying that in half an hour he would raise the stairs), managed to swim almost to the entrance to Coraya Bay - sad, I tell you. And "Everything" in that SMS meant that there was nothing more interesting, except for the standard, moreover, very modest set - no. We are generally strange enthusiasm for this reef of people in the reviews. I wonder where they've been before? In this situation, the "pelvis" of the neighboring hotel was a salvation for many. We also swam there in the afternoon, as we traveled around the bays in the morning. At low tide, of course, there is not enough water there, but, nevertheless, we managed to see and photograph something interesting there.
8. PEGASUS GUIDE.
A very interesting story turned out with this subject - I specifically emphasize, maybe it will be useful for someone. l
Finally, my resume. For those who do not care about the presence of a good house reef, as well as the ability to swim on it all the time, or who is going to drive around the nearby bays all the time (and there is where to go), then it is quite possible to go to Resta, especially given the combination of "price-quality" .

If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer, maybe I missed something.
