Hello, dear readers of this site! After reading the latest negative reviews on another site, I would like to add my half wishes:
1. A path to the sea is absolutely necessary, moreover, carpet and red is better)));
2. Turtles and dugong should be brought to the sun loungers on the beach so that tourists do not strain and lose precious kilograms swimming after them))));
3. So that tourists do not go to the sea for a long time (again, taking care of the honestly eaten kilograms), the staff should take them out of the rooms on sunbeds and transport them immediately to the rookery they like)))))));
4. Mosquitoes and flies should be banned from flying over the territory of the hotel, the beach and the sea at the legislative level)))));
5. In a restaurant, tourists should be given a magnifying glass at the entrance so that they spend less time looking for unwashed dishes))));

6. The animators should urgently learn a couple of scenes from the Kama Sutra, include them in the evening show, so that the program seems less “childish”)))))) to the guests.
Okay, this is all sarcasm inspired by reading some of the reviews. Let's get to the point. We rested at the end of November for 12 days, 2 couples. Before that, there were 5 times in Egypt, there were hotels that I liked, there were those that I did not like. We make rather high demands on the conditions of rest, even our travel agent calls us “spoiled tourists”.
Transfer: Flight Kyiv-Hurghada "Boeing 737-800" airline UIA, travel time is about 4 hours. Take-off and landing, as always, flawlessly, THANK YOU))). The transfer from the airport to the hotel was organized on a large comfortable bus, the journey took up to 4 hours.
Check-in: We met friendly guys at the reception, immediately settled in, at our request they gave 2 rooms nearby on the 2nd floor, a piece of the sea was visible from the balconies. Case number 13, near the pools and the lobby, the sea is also not far at all. Baksheesh was not required! During the rest with a smile solved all the small problems.
Rooms: Large and comfortable, there is absolutely everything you need: a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, water, shampoos, shower gel, hair balm, body balm, everything was replenished as needed and without reminders. There are 2 large beds in the room (the cleaner later remade them into one), new high-quality plumbing, mirrors, a sofa, wardrobes (they found scales, an iron, a hairdryer, an ironing board, a modern safe in the closet), armchairs, ottomans, a bunch of bedside tables, a large a plasma TV with a USB input (take your movies with you), a fumigator with mosquito plates, in general, everything for the convenience of guests. The design of the rooms is quite unusual, there are niches in the walls with decorative vases, everything is illuminated, oriental-style lamps, striped pillows, white and blue colors.
On the balcony there is a table, armchairs, a sofa, it's nice to look at a piece of the sea with a cup of coffee in the morning.

For those who are very sensitive sleepers: the soundproofing in this hotel is excellent, tested on yourself. Bathrobe and slippers brought immediately after a call to the reception. The cleaner pleased us with cleanliness, and sometimes with "towel creativity", but the most interesting thing is that he clearly noticed all our habits and tried to ensure that all things were exactly where it was convenient for us. We, in turn, tried to thank him every day for his diligence. We did not agree on the cleaning time, but it was carried out exclusively in our absence. 5 points!! ! ! ))))).
Restaurants: There are 4 in total:
- The main restaurant "Marsa" - works on the "buffet" system, there are seats both inside the restaurant and outside on the terrace overlooking the sea. A special very friendly manager meets you at the entrance, sits you down, the waiter comes, asks what you will drink while you are picking up a plate, the drinks are already on the table. There were always enough places for us, although they came at different times.
Only once, when we wanted a network on the terrace (although there were many free tables in the hall), we had to wait 5-10 minutes. There were enough cutlery and cups, and if there was something missing, all you had to do was call the waiter, and he would instantly reserve the table with the missing cutlery.
The choice of dishes is not very large, without frills (“tigers on skewers” were not served), and the cuisine is “not ours”. For Egypt, the food is standard, but we did not come to grow sides, but to rest, we were never hungry. The husband was pleased with the abundance of various types of pasta, he loves it. There were also "fresh" and yoghurts for breakfast, fruits (melon, guava, dates, oranges, bananas, pomegranates, apples), delicious pastries. The most important criterion for me is the absence of poisoning (the first-aid kit was not unpacked), because from personal experience in another hotel I know what a vacation spoiled by running around to the “white horse” means.
In my opinion, the food deserves 4 points, but for the service I will add another 1 (there is not enough scale on this site to rate the service at the Hilton, 5 points is not enough in my opinion).
- 3 a la carte restaurants free of charge: Noba Bar, Soak Cafe, Breezes. Took for a change to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary, Breezes liked the most. The cuisine was not very impressive, but I was impressed by the romantic atmosphere and service.

"Snacks" are in the bar on the beach and by the pools ("fast food"), for fans. Be careful, the chosen dish (for example, chicken kebab or tuna sandwich) comes with half a bucket of French fries))) by default. We didn't know, and we laughed a lot when the waiter started to take out our order to us)))))).
Bars: they work in the lobby, on the beach, there are "drowned" in heated and non-heated pools. The system "All inclusive" operates from 11-00 to 24-00.
I was pleased with the absence of “powdered” drinks like UPI in the Hilton, with which mothers “vitaminize” their children from morning until evening in other hotels. There is a very good selection of packaged juices, "tonic" from a can, not from the tap. There is an alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail card, the choice is large, they even make a mojito type. Locally produced alcohol is not bad for Egypt (there is also bottled beer, there is wine in the main restaurant for lunch, everything else is standard: vodka, rum, tequila, the quality is pretty good).
Service: it is in the Hilton that I want to say not the impersonal word “staff”, but “people”, each left a unique impression about himself)))). From our own bitter experience in other hotels, we were faced with the fact that constant political upheavals had an extremely negative impact on the level of service, we even moved from one hotel on the 2nd day of rest. Fortunately, this does not apply to the Hilton.
The people who work here did everything to make us feel welcome.
Special thanks to Masha. Although she didn’t have to “settle down” our problems with the rest of the employees (they simply didn’t create them for us), she showed attention and care, organized congratulations on our birthdays with my husband, helped order congratulations to friends on their wedding anniversary (they were shocked) )))), called the number, worried if everything was in order, if we liked everything)))). People, do not hesitate to contact her with problems, it is better to resolve all misunderstandings on the spot than to silently smile, and then write "BIG WHAT" in the review!

I can't help but mention how happy the holidays are at this hotel, because our company had 3 there (2 birthdays and 1 wedding anniversary). In other hotels, we are used to the fact that a couple of waiters for 20 dollars. The United States takes out a piece of cake with a candle to the hero of the occasion, dejectedly howls “Happy mediocrity” and leaves after 2 minutes.
We at the Hilton prepared for the standard dreary procedure, BUT IT WAS NOT THERE! ! ! For my husband's birthday in the room, a cake, plates, cutlery framed by a heart made of towels and flower petals were waiting for us on the bed. But that’s not all, in the evening in the main restaurant, to the beat of a drum, 5 waiters and a manager pulled up to our table, first they sang some kind of cheerful national song to the drum, pulled us out to dance, only then there was the traditional “Happy idle”, cake, candles . The action lasted about 10 minutes, the mood is very uplifting)))))). On my birthday, everything was about the same, we were found in an a la carte restaurant. On the wedding anniversary of friends in Soak Cafe they brought out a cake in the shape of a heart, gathered all the visitors of the restaurant and arranged a small disco in the national style, GREAT!! ! ! )))). THANKS FOR THE PRESENT MOOD)))))))).
Sorry, got distracted, back to the service.
All hotel employees are very friendly and smiling, gardeners, cleaners, security, chefs, beach-boys, bartenders, waiters, reception - EVERYONE is VERY COOL, everyone is attentive and friendly! ! ! The fact that they serve for a long time, worse than foreigners, they don’t allow something, infringe on something, and in general “they don’t report meat to tigers, ” I, reading some reviews, am very surprised. I don’t know how it turns out that we were in 2 different hotels. In general, I didn’t hear a single word NO or NO from the staff at any of my requests, only PLEASE and a SMILE in response)))))). Sometimes I was even surprised, for example: I asked to make a cocktail according to my own recipe, naturally it is not in the cocktail menu (I called it “NUBIAN KIS”), I showed it to the bartender 1 time, and OK, no problem, then I just said the name and they made it to me without questions.

Mashenka, if you are reading this review, give a huge HELLO and a separate SHUKRAN to the guys from us: Mukhamed with blue eyes (a very nice little man and a true “decoration of the hotel”))))))), Hani (an interesting conversationalist, very kind and understanding), Mina (“charming” with a sense of humor), Ramadan (very attentive to guests), Tarek (we won’t forget his cocktail “BOOM” / “goodbye” for a long time)))). Once again THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! ! !
Let me give you an example of a funny story that also characterizes the Hilton service. Our friend accidentally closed the room from the inside. They called from our room, they explained in poor English that the number had closed, we were told that the key had become demagnetized. We began to object that it was not the key, but it was clear that we understand each other poorly))). After 2 minutes, a man arrived with a "freshly magnetized" key, tried to open it, made sure that it was not the key, told us that he called "inzhinia" ("engineer" Rus.
) and reassured our friend so that he would not worry that he would get into the room. After 10 minutes, 2 "Inginia" came with a stepladder, climbed through the balcony and opened the room from the inside. We laughed for a long time.
Animation Entertainment: we are "spoiled" by chic Turkish animation. In Egypt, not a single animation team suited us: either too vulgar, or completely, including the skate show and club dance, torn off from the Turks, then frankly stupid with a terrible sense of humor, or so unobtrusive that you can’t find it with fire during the day. And here the Hilton was an exception. The animation team surprised us with their individuality and diligence. Unobtrusive, but not indifferent, at a good level (like this hotel), I liked the Boule, water aerobics, oriental. It is interesting with local guys and there is something to talk about, they command respect. Good evening shows, liked the dance with skirts and acrobatic show. Guys THANK YOU!! ! ! ))))))

And most importantly, the beach and the SEA: the beach is clean, cleaned, new sun loungers, enough towels, there is always a place, you don’t need to take it from the night. The beach has a shower, a bar with "snacks" and drinks, a toilet, a changing room, a place to play "boule" and volleyball, "stretching" and yoga are held. A “tuk-tuk” with a cheerful, colorful uncle rides to the beach every 5-7 minutes, but walking for a few minutes on foot and shaking the salt is absolutely not difficult.
SEA: no words, only emotions! ! ! In Sharm, we are “spoiled” with cool reefs, we also went to Ras Mohamed. Home reef "Hilton" is also very impressive. At first, it’s rather shallow, if you swim along the reef, then the depth increases, and you can hardly see the bottom, what depth, it’s hard to imagine, BLUE BEEP)))). On the reef there is a hostel of diverse living creatures: cool octopuses, colored fish of various sizes (from the palm of your hand to 1.
5 m), sometimes there are (in not very large quantities) such "beasts" as divers from neighboring hotels. In the bay there are several turtles of various sizes, moray eels, stingrays, guitarists, sometimes a dugong swims (it's true, we saw it with our own eyes). It's impossible to list everything, it's impossible to describe in words, it's a must see!! ! !
EXCURSIONS: 1 took to the Marsa-Mubarak Bay from the local diving center near Olya, celebrated my birthday on the yacht (it was my best birthday). The bay is not bad, it is worth taking for the sake of diversity. I swam for several minutes next to a giant gray moray eel (more than 3 m), saw a mackerel hunting, laughed for a long time. Unforgettably! ! ! !
The 2nd excursion was from Pegasus to Luxor (more than 5 hours one way). Everything that the ancient Egyptians did 3.5 thousand years ago was very, very impressive, worth a look)))))).

How the modern Pegasus employees organized the tour is not quite right: I would like more time for history and less for “swindling” in shops and factories (guides have % of our purchases). And yet, I believe that for 115 dollars. USA per person, the toilet on the bus should work (for some reason it was closed for us). Stops were made in "paid" toilets for 2 pounds per person, the exchange rate of dollars. / pound = 1/5 (in cans 6.5-6.8), but you won’t bargain in the toilet in this position ! ! ! ((((((Perhaps the guides have a “rollback” here too ((((. Stock up on small pounds. ))))) Although the hotel guide from Pegasus could have warned about the “scam” for an exchange in the toilet! In other , neither the hotel nor Luxor is to blame. )))))))))
I recommend the hotel: active people in love with the Red Sea! For those who are ready to walk a few minutes to the entrance to the bay for the sake of meeting with fish, turtles and dugong!
Those who took their loved ones and good mood with them, but left claims and “show-offs” at home!
I don’t have the habit of returning 2 times to 1 hotel, I want to see something new, but for some reason I’m drawn to the Hilton)))))…….
There will be questions, write, I will answer with pleasure.
