We are planning to stay in this hotel in May.
Please tell us what we should expect from the weather. Are there strong winds? Is there a flow? If yes, how strong? We will be very grateful for your answers.

The weather is unpredictable! even more so now. It is cooler to rest in Egypt than in the north. Russia. =)))
There should be no wind at this time. If you swim from the pantone, the current is small, but from the shore - it is not !!!

It's a windy area. We rested in May last year - the wind was very strong, it was stormy for 4 days, it was impossible to swim ... and the constant strong wind was pretty tired.

- hmm ... funny and sad to read this FSE ((
- and that in Serenity you can swim and not from a pontoon? It's like - on the belly in a puddle. So why then finally go to Egypt - swim in the bathroom.
- wind ? Are you from Burkina Faso or Equatorial Guinea that you are afraid of the winds?
- there are practically no currents - I advise you to swim to the Al Nabila lagoon and back - there are very beautiful corals and sometimes turtles swim by.

I rested in the nearby Harmony Makadi Bay hotel for 3 years in a row - the wind will blow for 3-4 days, then calm. There are always strong currents - but this is absolutely not a problem. You go with the flow, and then you go out anywhere and come back on foot. It is not necessary to swim within a radius of 50 m from the pontoon. I swam to Al Nabila Bay - very beautiful - I saw a 1.5 m moray eel. I wish you a pleasant stay.

- also an option: enter or exit directly on the reef. It is advisable to have fins with an open heel and put them directly on slippers (or boots).
That's just what you need to be able to do - otherwise during a storm you can get scratched (also really not fatal)

arrived on May 25, the winds were not weak from morning to afternoon, in the afternoon at low tide the wind subsided
