Who was in Egypt this month, how is the temperature? I want to fly with a child of 5 years! Can you tell me if it's worth it or not? If yes, please recommend the hotel!

I don't fly to Africa in July.
And the guides do not advise, they laugh at the burnt tourists. They joke that the Red Sea is from burnt tourists)

Well, I wouldn’t advise either, the most comfortable time for a vacation in Egypt is April and until the middle, poppy until the end of May. And then September-October-November. It was hot in summer. At sea, up to a maximum of 10 hours, and then it is already very hot, then into the room under the air conditioner and climb out of it after 15-16 hours. Judge for yourself what kind of vacation it is and how much this option can suit you. Moreover, you burn with creams, under umbrellas, and clothes (any piece of unprotected skin burns out in an instant). Although they say that the heat is easier to bear due to the dry climate ... perhaps easier, but if the thermometer is over 40+, then how much easier will it be for the child and you? But if you don't try, you won't know. If you really want...

I will support moy_contakt and continue if you really want to choose Nabq Bay in Sharm or Marsa Alam

Vika284, even in Nabq at this time it's not childishly frying.
I would not advise going to Egypt at this time of the year, especially with a 5-year-old child - it will definitely burn out, and no sunscreens will help.
It will be a little more comfortable at the end of August, maybe it’s worth going then?

well what can i tell you
no one laughs at tourists
full planes are flying
I'm currently in Egypt
in the afternoon 36.6, yes it is hot, but it is easily tolerated (they flew away from Kharkov, it was day 38)
At the sea from 7 am to 1 o'clock, we are under umbrellas, we actively swim with masks, we smear ourselves with 30, we have not burned out, and this despite the fact that my husband is light and white-skinned.
In the sea, during a long swim, I even froze a couple of times;))
From personal feelings, in August it was hotter and the sea is hotter
What rested last October, what now, I did not particularly notice the difference in the sensations of heat.
In Turkey in July, I was less comfortable.
And after this season, if such unjustifiably high prices remain in Turkey, then June-July, definitely good hotels in Egypt.
Once again, I'm convinced, you need to check everything on your own experience
The unbearable heat in Egypt turned out to be another tourist myth for me.

In Ukraine, apparently, the heat has caught up with Egypt, in Zaporozhye a few days ago it was over 35 degrees, and even asphalt and concrete residential boxes, but they go to Berdyansk and Kirillovka, and they speak excellently there, although there is not even a lousy tree on the braids. probably Egypt All Inclusive than Ukraine without sewerage on the Kirillov spits.

Yes, hotels! you need to know the budget of the trip, and from here proceed according to their choice. It is better to find out what they will offer you in the TA of your city, and then discuss it here!

In May, we were in Sultan Sharm with a 3-year-old child for 2 weeks. Heat up to + 42. But, nothing, but expensive.
All for money.
First decide on the order of the budget figures, and then ask.
July in Egypt, whatever they say here, is the high season for tourists.

Rested in Safaga in July. The heat is well tolerated, unless, of course, you don’t go on excursions to the desert - I don’t advise with a child, but for adults it’s not scary. Resting in a hotel near the sea is absolutely wonderful, the water is warm, you can not go ashore for a long time. But, of course, leave the beach after 11 and come back after 16. Then everything will be fine.

You can go, really I was much more comfortable there in 36 degrees than here in 26. Just take light clothes for yourself and your child with long sleeves. I recommend the hotel Dana Beach Hurghada 5 for a child, a wonderful entry into the sea. The sea doesn't go anywhere. Corals can not be taken.

We were in Hurghada in June. The weather was very comfortable. If a child sits by the water for a long time, wear a long-sleeved shirt.

From the second half of September and October is the best time for Egypt. And April.
I recommend that all tourists read on weather sites not only temperature and precipitation, but also such an indicator as the ultraviolet index. And read at least one of the oncologists. Or dermatologists, the same Bogomolets.
Ukrainians already have enough oncogenic factors to add one more to them. And not only for myself, but also for the children.
аватар AllOverTheWorld
Pachok, but only Ukrainians are prone to oncogenic factors (what kind of factors can they not come up with, even if you don’t leave the house)?
Vitamin D is out of favor again?
Or is the air cleaner in megacities at 35-38 degrees?
and in which tourist beach countries in summer is the "ultraviolet index" small?

AllOverTheWorld You are free to do as you see fit. I'm not going to argue with you.

No one writes that it is impossible to swim in Egypt without a mask - the water is so salty that it will eat out your eyes. Yes, the reef in Sharm is interesting, the fish are beautiful - but getting in, getting off the pontoon dangling on the waves is another problem. I have never met worse people than the Egyptians, they feed (and do everything else) according to the principle - here you go and shit yourself. At 6 pm they are kicked out of the pools. It's hot, you can only move from shade to shade during the day. This land is as dead as the lunar surface - nothing grew there and did not live from the beginning, all the water is imported, the territory is watered with sewage, and then there is amber. Walks only after sunset. Once and never again.

abbagliante, I answered you in more detail in another topic, but not everything fit there. I’ll add here that you can unsuccessfully relax in any country and the country is not always to blame for this. If you chose not the best time for your vacation, and even a cheaper hotel, then this is not the country's fault, it's just that you were inattentive in choosing the time and choosing the hotel.
